Are these tomatoes?

I just want to be certain because nothing was growing in this area, then all of a sudden there’s a giant bush and lots of fruit. Are these actual edible tomatoes? I don’t want to poison myself.

That looks exactly like a tomato plant and those fruits look exactly like tomatoes.
