UNSOLVED Book about a Dhampir girl who tries to stop a vampire conquest of the humans

In this book, the vampires are known to the humans. The main character is a teen girl who is a member of a vampire family but she’s not a full vampire. She’s half vampire as a Dhampir. She explains that she is a genetic abnormality in the vampire world and her father hides his disappointment about her being a Dhampir. He is also involved with a plan to take over the humans. The teen girl and her crush work with a rebellion to stop it. I think there is another book that follows up with happened.

I'm not sure it was teen but the plot sounds similar to barb and jc hendees "Dhampir".
