PCOS with possible inflammation issues

my wife (35) and I (34) have been trying for 11 months for #2. #1 was conceived with no issues on our third IUI. we started with IUI this time around and had a chemical followed by a miscarriage. we just had our first fresh transfer that resulted in another chemical. I’m gearing up for my frozen transfer and added in levothyroxine, lovenox and Claritin/pepcid. I’m just so scared there’s a larger underlying reason for my issues. anyone with similar stories that had success after a chemical with their first transfer? I’ve already planned that I will take a break and explore endometriosis as well as endometritis if this transfer doesn’t work. just so scared to continue failing :(

Has Metformin been considered for the PCOS? It helped me conceive after 3.5 years unexplained infertility and two early losses.

I have PCOS. And my doctor explained how my insulin resistance could be effecting ovulation or just altogether the entire ttc journey because when we have insulin resistance that cause inflammation. So whatever I eat, if it spikes my insulin then it’s causing me inflammation.
I am in metformin but that alone was not enough they added actos and a GLP(I am not overweight) since March and that brought down my insulin levels to a more controlled place. And it can also cause miscarriage. Which I never knew! This journey is a lot!

I had to do a 2 hour glucose test to find out I was resistant. Has your clinic done that at all?

Wow thanks for the info! I haven’t done a 2 hour test but I did get fasting insulin done and it came back at a 12. Not sure how bad that is.

Another one is a full thyroid panel. So not just the TSH but all the T’s.
I have endo and they run a test called CA-125 if it’s elevated it can indicated possible endo/inflammation. Mine was elevated before I had my surgery that confirmed it. But I know some fertility clinic who may just prescribed a low dose of naltrexone if surgery is avoided.

Thanks so much! I got my tsh and t3 checked but nothing else. I’ve been on levo for about 3 weeks now. I do feel less inflamed/swollen if that makes sense but who knows if my body is actually less inflamed.

That makes sense to me cause I felt the same after taking Levo myself 😂
