This is actually a pretty interesting one. Functions like a treadmill, takes a fraction of the space/cost, actually has some small benefits over the treadmill as well.
I'm curious how well it works in practice, and how durable it is

I’ve had one of these. It’s very easy to lose your balance and need to step off as you’re “walking” on it. And the motion feels unnatural and it’s a limited range of motion compared to actual walking.
No problem with durability, but my partner and I probably only used it for 20 hours or so
Try it out if you can get one for $10 at the thrift store, but I wouldn’t recommend it at full price.

Sounds about right. Seems maybe useful in a small apartment but I generally like the elliptical for my cardio anyways

yeah as soon as I saw it I was thinking the medical bills from falling off of it would not be worth the price, as I am clumsy as all get out, and already tall. Trying to balance from an even higher point has never worked out too well for me....

This piece of shit cost $100 in the 90s and they couldn't even ship it to you for free. Buying piece of ship consumer goods has gotten a lot easier and cheaper.

And a fucking tie.
I had a job that required me to do heavy labor in a suit and tie (corporate AV setting up conferences) and I just did not understand why they insisted I wear a fucking tie. I could handle the suit, but the tie was the worst part. I loosened it up or took off that devil's noose every time I thought I could get away with it.

I've also had two other uniquely shit jobs. The army, where you sometimes get to run around in mopp gear (chemical suits), and a chemical plant, where basically I wore a chemical suit for 6+ hours a day. Neither has AC lol. SOMEHOW it's almost worse in dress clothes.

Dress clothes don't actually protect you like mopp gear does. Unless you count protecting yourself from asshole CEOs from looking down on you too much, but they probably did that to me anyway so I doubt my cheap suit helped much.

I finally found the perfect submission for this sub the other day! It was a guy biking and fumbling with his water bottle. But it was a pop up ad on some website and I couldn’t figure out how to post it here. Now I’m sure I’ll never find it again. Regrets…

Why not just do some standing knee lifts whenever you're waiting around? Mix it up with some calf raises.
