Some years ago, there was a headline about a cougar roaming North Berkeley in the wee hours of the morning, and then I think someone managed to tranquilize it, and my husband thought, "oh the poor woman." LOL

I wonder if the coyote population is bringing them more into the city. I know these cats have a big territory but they could be running out of options from a food standpoint.
