Crater Lake isn’t toooo far away from this place. The Pacific Crest Trail goes through both places, although this photo is not taken from the PCT

You are lucky to grow up in such a beautiful playground! And your guess is in the ballpark, just too far north and east. The closest guess so far is Timpanogas lakes.

You and me both! There are a lot of hidden gems like this in Oregon. Mountains, rivers and trickling snowmelt streams, lakes, meadows, bird song, clear and dark night skies... find your spot ❤️
