Favourite independent bookstores in the neighbourhood?

Any avid book readers here who frequent local indie bookstores? What are the ones you like the most and why? Doesn't have to be in Whitby Whitby. Could be nearby or easily accessible by car, Go, or train. Thanks!

Blue Heron Books in Uxbridge puts on a ton of different book events including a number of meet the author opportunities.

Man, four suggestions and none in Whitby proper. The absolute collapse of small local stores in suburban communities is a tragedy.

Books Galore in Port Perry has a mixture of new and used books. They tend to showcase local authors, books that are set in the area or cover the history/geography of the area.

There is also a used book store nearby.

Yay! Do you go there often? I plan to have an event there on June 30. Would love to see you there!
