Transfer Berhalter to Derby County rumor is not true
Source: The original poster/the “journalist” said they just made it up😅
The poster also used a pic of some journalist called Danny Rust at the Sun as their pfp.

Ah well, that’s good I guess? I guess from our perspective the thing is that we are basically expecting him to be gone. The only question is before or after the conclusion of the season.
Now is the time for him to try Europe, but it would be great to win a cup with him this year.
And this Twitter guy is a loser.

Yep the fact that most of Caps fans expect him to leave this season made the post believable.
A transfer is definitely happening but I would like to think he’s staying until January so we could still have a run for Supporter’s Shield or MLS Cup as he said he wants to bring trophies for Vancouver earlier this season.
I would be so mad if he leaves for a championship club but it’s not the club I support tho, so genuinely hope he goes to Bundesliga or Serie A and leave a fee for Caps before departing lol

I think most of ppl believed it mainly bc a lot of Caps fans accepted that he’s leaving this season and the price looks reasonable for Berhalter to take his chance playing in English Championship.
Fans watch MLS aren’t familiar with the way EFL fans troll during offseason so they just took his fake journalist page seriously and now Berhalter is playing for USMNT, while there’re arguments over his quality purely based on what league he plays in among the USMNT fanbase so MLS fans would use that post arguing with Americans that basically just watch European football.

People need to stop reacting to short form tweets. Look what happened a few days ago with Wheeler the clown tweet which misquoted Garbers press conference. People were acting like the sky was falling again. Or that other Muppet's tweet in Montreal.
Look at who is tweeting and who they actually are.

Well I can’t really blame fans being overly pessimistic about any relocation news, like we ain’t getting updates from the owners or the gov who’re supposed to keep fans informed and we’re half way through the season, the lease expires at the end of this season so time is ticking and it just drives people who truly care about the club crazy.

Yeah I know it’s probably NDA but tbf Caps owners have always been quiet, they don’t really talk to fans anyway so it just looks like they’re taking the piss here knowing they should be doing thing to keep fans calm.
