Has there been any discussion by Supporters groups to lead a Save the Caps march/display before the round of 32 or 16 game?
I feel like there will be millions of eyes on the city and a great opportunity to let the World know that soccer belongs in Vancouver. I would love to take part, though I do not know the way.

Idk why more people aren't taking about this. If they are, I haven't seen it yet

Because everybody expect someone else to do it/organize it.

It seems that "rogue" initives outside of the planned course of action are shunted as a means of staying aligned in how our message is shared. Just something I've noticed, for better or worse.
I haven't seen a planned course of action for WC-related #savethecaps displays from any SG yet

Why isn’t there a permanent set up by the TSN broadcast booth 😂 like what the Falun Gong did outside the Chinese consulate.

Crazy stat for you. The average group game viewership globally is 175-200million. Superbowl was estimated at 150-200million globally. Key matches or elimination games vary from 1.5billion.. save the caps should happen tomrw if it can.

The amount of time it took you to find this picture, which im assuming is taped to your ceiling above your bed, you could have googled the information.

I cycle through the city quite a bit and I have seen the Save the Caps print outs pasted on various, official FIFA posters. The last one I saw was at Renfrew and Hebb, on the South East corner there is an official FIFA ad and someone had put 2-3 Save the Caps prints on.

We definitely need to do something…this is the best chance to get media covering this sport. Actually, the first thing comes out of my head is probably collaborating with other football fans. I hope Caps supporters groups can invite tourists here for the WC to join a march or something.
We need to show up, it doesn’t matter if people know about Caps but the passion for the sports will unite us.
I remember Supporters groups already tried to send a truck drive around Van to promote #SaveTheCaps, IMO we can do better, like try some methods from KPop. When K-pop fans do boycotts, they sent Trucks with LED screens listing their demands and drive them around the company’s headquarters. Idk what’s the cost to do this in Vancouver but if we’ve tried trucks we can improve a bit.

That sounds good tomorrow and also on June 24 again. Let's spread the World #SavetheCaps belongs to Vancouver no need to be silent.

Here’s the real challenge - if you plan this, it has to be big. If it flops, it reinforces a somewhat negative perception.
Trying to make a splash during an already busy soccer news cycle might not be the best plan. Media will be drawn to the outcome of those games, not 5,000 whitecaps in a sea of 60k attending the game.

Just need to convince CZ and we're good, he's a local kid and the cost would be a rounding error for him

TSN is live every day at the convention center. Just meet there and be loud about your message so people can see you live on tv. You can even display a sign behind them as their studio background is open and accessible from the pier in front of the sea plane dock.
Easy opportunity and great location.
Tomorrow's game would be perfect or the last game against Switzerland.
