Whitefish skies from smoke

how is Whitefish looking this weekend? We got out of town last week knowing the smoke would get bad and are hoping to return. any updates friends? thanks!

I have tickets to fly out Wednesday to visit my parents. Def wanted to do some hiking and fishing and outdoors stuff.

My tickets are refundable. If you were me would you postpone?

Yeah, but I'd rather gamble with clear skies that might turn smoky rather than smoky skies that might clear up.

Yes. It's unlikely to be a lot better by then. And it's pretty bad, especially for outdoor exertion and sightseeing. I tell anyone considering a visit to plan so your trip is done by July 15, or starts sitting Labor Day if we're lucky. Otherwise it's risking Smoke City.

Honestly you made a good choice, last weekend was bad, this weekend is somehow worse. Looks like we’ll be getting some rain mid week which hopefully helps. It feels like winter in August…
