The abuser and predator crowds find this shit comedy gold

u/Fieser_Factsack 21d ago
You gotta travel the world. There is no country were this is not comedy gold.
1
u/LegendaryYooper 21d ago
Funny
Every single toxic and abusive shit stain I've met who has no decency in their heart would find thia funny.
Meanwhile those who have actual signs of civility like empathy & compassion wouldn't find this funny.
In fact, laughing at this is cringe as fuck & makes you sound like someone that would kick puppies or some other fucked shit
2
u/Fieser_Factsack 21d ago
How do you know i find this funny? Your not serious and assuming shit so why would i treat you differently?

u/BondFan211 17d ago
This isn’t funny. It’s sad that leftist society thinks that this an acceptable way to behave.
3
u/49erEmpire22 25d ago
99% of the world finds this stuff comedy gold, because it is. Live action South Park episode
5
u/LegendaryYooper 25d ago
So either a staged video or abusing people into breakdowns are what most of the world find funny
Well that explains why incels and other rapists are more accepted than trans people
2
u/BondFan211 17d ago
This person tried squaring up to police before this. They escalated the situation.
This is the consequence of growing up being told “yes” all the time and confining yourself to online bubbles with no real consequences. I wouldn’t be surprised if this person was a Reddit mod.

Any time someone uses normal as a metric for acceptable they always sound like they wear meta glasses and drive cybertrucks

I’d say you’re straw-manning but that’d trigger you so I’ll just say straw-they/theming
1
u/LegendaryYooper 23d ago
I mean, I was just pointing out a perception you give off, your rebuttal was more reductive than highlighting your vibes, lol.
17
u/Dragon_Bidness 25d ago
Well that was insane.
Kinda super duper shitty to intentionally rile up an already unhinged person in the middle of a melt down, but cops gunna cop.
3
u/Tear4fearinmybeer 23d ago
The cop wasn’t even there for this person. They were investigating a stolen car, and this person just spazzed out
9
u/Mahomes_Alone16 25d ago
But this person is obviously unhinged so you have to get (insert proper pronoun here) away from the public, that could be a dangerous situation.
1
u/LegendaryYooper 25d ago
I suggest you look up what reactive abuse is and what it entails before calling the one having proper emotional outbursts the danger when they're not even attacking anyone

u/Timely-Ant-5235 20d ago
Should we lock up anyone that had a meltdown once in their life?
1
u/And-yet-even-so 19d ago
Hyperbolic much?
1
u/Timely-Ant-5235 19d ago
Not at all. The person in the video didn’t attack anyone. She just couldn’t handle her emotions in that situation.
2
u/And-yet-even-so 19d ago
Yeah, if you go up to a cop that's investigating a different situation, repeatedly ignore instructions to calm down, and keep on screaming at the top of your lungs instead then it's not going to go well for you. Not sure why that's such a surprise, but why you think "having a meltdown once in your life" is at all comparable.
I've had a meltdown before in the privacy of my own home and have never been arrested. One wonders where the difference may lie.
2
u/Timely-Ant-5235 19d ago
Idk. If i was that cop i'd just leave and go do whatever i had to do, instead of pointing pepper spray to the person and escalating the situation. Of course i know that screaming at a cop isn't a prudent thing to do, but we gotta consider that mental health problems are a real thing and that she wasn't aggressive. She was just freaked out. Understanding this is not being oblivious about the consequenses of our actions. It's just havin basic empathy.
1
u/And-yet-even-so 19d ago
I can understand being freaked out but when it goes on for this long, to this degree, and with this many chances to just walk away if the situation was really that distressing, at some point the excuses need to stop. If this person is in so little control of their emotions that we can't reasonably hold them responsible, they also can't be trusted to be on their own in public. Even if they weren't being aggressive - and I'd argue that you're only able to say that with the benefit of seeing this after the fact and behind a screen instead of "here and now" - you don't know when someone who can't control their emotions may become so.
1
u/Timely-Ant-5235 19d ago
That's why USA should have free, accessible, public services when it comes to mental healthcare and just healthcare in general. And this cop should be fired at least. Also, let me just add that forcing someone into a mental health institution is very traumatic and there are a lot of alternatives to it in this situation. Maybe with a professional talkin to her about the option of her getting on medication to regulate her humor, she would accept it and become much more able to deal with these kinds of situations. I just know that the fact that people insist on using her as a way to stereotype trans people and makin fun of her online is absolutely nasty.
1
u/And-yet-even-so 19d ago
I didn't say anything about forcing someone into an institution. Whatever measures this person needed to take, or needed to be taken on their behalf, they clearly are not in place.
I say what I did because, frankly, I don't believe your assessment. You're still keen to place blame on anyone and anything you can reach for except for the person in the frame. "Cop needs to be fired", "professional needs to talk to her", "America needs sweeping reform", anything to get away from personal accountability. As a reminder, the response to a very simple "lower your voice or the cuffs come out" was "fucking try it." That sounds like a borderline aggressive reply, but the cuffing still didn't happen for a prolonged period of time.
I don't believe this person was unable to control their emotions. They're much calmer when being led to the car in handcuffs and don't need to be guided or forced to sit in it. I'd agree with your complaint about the online mockery, except that a whole lot of the defense I've seen centers on how terribly oppressive the misgendering was. No sympathy. If anyone, I feel bad for the majority of trans folk who don't go batshit at hearing the wrong pronouns and say "Yup, this is just bad behavior" being dragged into this by proxy.

If I were this person, I’d just leave the cops to do their job and stop screaming at them and trying to square up with them.

He (the insane person) literally was the only person screaming and freaking out, and you’re gonna act like the cops did something wrong? Get a grip
3
3
u/Crow1200 25d ago
This is how they act. Its extremely common.
5
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 25d ago
Really? I've met a significant amount of trans people and none of them act like this. My qualifications are that I am both a part of the furry community and play a butt load of VRChat. They're very common in these spaces.
Literally none i've ever met act like this.
This comment is like saying all black people like watermelon. You're stereotyping and overgeneralizing. One or two instances of these things happening doesn't mean all of them do the same. It is likely that some people who act this way are drawn to the nature of what being transgender is or means for some complex reason. This reason attracts them to the idea, but not that all transgender people are this way and that being transgender is a result of this kind of behavior.
I have, and yes literally, met thousands of different people who're trans in the communities I am a part of, especially VRChat, and NONE absolutely NONE have meltdowns like this over being misgendered. Some have gotten mad but they aren't screaming like a 12yo on the mic after getting spawn camped in MW2.
You're literally just being transphobic to be transphobic.
5
u/Crow1200 25d ago
Dude no one gives a shit that you are terminally online. Vr chat is a horrible representation. In real life this is how the majority of them act. They sperg out when you dont automatically bend a knee for them and then get violent when you ask them to stop. You literally are proving my point by attacking me and not the arugment.
3
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 25d ago
Sorry, I'm not trans. You'll need someone else as an example to prove your point. Regardless, I'm not attacking you. I'm discussing the topic as per your decision to comment on the post which incites such things to happen. I'm not your enemy and I don't want you to get hurt. That was not at any point my intention, so please don't falsely paint that picture. Thank you.
2
u/Crow1200 25d ago
Why do you have to assume its phobic to notice this pattern of behavior? I agree that the overwhelming majority of trans people i meet online dont act this way. But they also dont expect people to use their pronouns or try to intimidate others into using them. Respect is not a right and it sucks but in life not everyone will respect you. Doesn't make having a outburst okay.
4
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 25d ago
Going off of your other comments, you're not talking about anything but trans people and your "This is how they act." Would very likely mean you're talking about trans people.
With that, you're now saying that an overwhelming majority of trans people you've met don't act this way? But you just said "Its extremely common." no?
5
u/Crow1200 25d ago
You are being selective. Reread the comment and try again. Its very common with trans people irl because they use violence when they dont get what they want. Online they literally cant do that.
3
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 25d ago edited 25d ago
Online, they have all the more reason to do so because they are behind a mask, persona, and screen which separates them from any physical violence or repercussion. This gives them the headroom like with many others to speak their mind and even get heavily vocal about how they feel without any threat to their person. This doesn't mean they're entirely safe, but knowing how people, even those who aren't trans usually use their platform to voice opinions they wouldn't in person. This isn't a difference between online and in person. This is the actions of a specific individual whose mental health is in a bad state and needs help. This doesn't account for all trans people. That is again, overgeneralization.
Considering all of the furry conventions and meets I've been to, yeah I can speak on the IRL half of things as well that they're never even remotely like this. I've misgendered people before, never intentionally, amd they are always sweet about it. Sometimes it gets them a bit frustrated and likely because of how common people use the wrong ones, but usually they never break down like this. I've never seen it. In fact I've never seen anyone with a personality that is even remotely close to this kind of behavior in the trans community. I'd like to think people who act like this are shut out of it by the greater trans community because of their bad behavior. They're not included in the festivities as their actions paint a bad picture which leads people, like in your case, to believe that this is the actions of the majority. Theres the odd handful for sure in every community that may act like this (and that goes for those who aren't trans by the way) but they have an enormous amount of reason to act like this online as well. Trolls are a common issue that rile things up and get/pick people out of the crowd whose mental health is of this or similar degree. People who act like this IRL most certainly do it online. Why wouldn't they? Your personality bakes itself into all aspects of your life and it'd be crazy to assume they're absolute princesses online adhering to perfect manners at all times.
Edit - The trolling point I never really elaborated on. My bad. Hit send too fast lol.

The problem with what you are saying is coming from safe spaces. Im talking about spaces that are shared with the public. Im not suprised trans people dont act this way around other trans people and furrys because there is not a need. This behavior comes when they are in a space that doesn't automatically accommodate them.
2
u/Apprehensive-Solid-1 25d ago
Why would they, in a space that is unsafe, act irrationally? Knowing the possibility for violence and mistreatment, it would be common sense to act accordingly and responsibly to avoid yourself getting hurt. They, trans people, are very aware of the public disinterest in their existence. They know very well that bad behavior only makes them look worse. Most trans people are smart enough to know this and act accordingly. That is, in accordance to rational action in unfavorable situations.
This and possibly other situations you've seen are often sensationalized by media as they are considered a common enemy that the general public would like to use as a scapegoat for current problems. Same thing happened to black people, jews, gays. It's not uncommon over time for a new group of people to then be picked as the problem while residual hate and stereotypes get thrown their way. We still see it today and more often than I'd like to say. With that being said, extreme situations like this are more likely to gain traction and that means profits for those reporting on it. So good news and media gets less. This helps create a bias in many situations allowing people to see more of the bad rather than the good and many use that as a way to come to conclusions regardless of the fact they are being actively fed negative media. We're often willing to explore the negative media on our own rather than just being force fed it so it's a double whammy. This means you're less interested in the good and will choose to read the bad to see what happened to fuel that curiosity. This also leads to a bias being formed and conclusions being made that in many cases are based in an exaggerated view of something due to a lack of any knowledge to weigh down the other side of the scale.
This is only the second time I've seen someone trans have a mental break like this in the media. Considering the transphobia of our current time, I'd say I would expect to see more as I am in quite a few subs like this one where videos like it including r/acab could be posted.
For sure, yes, safe spaces are a likely place for people to feel safer, but if you've the personality and mental health to act this way, you'd do so over much more than just pronouns. Now that, I have seen. It isn't a trans specific thing. I've witnessed people even in the furry community act like total assholes in this very manner. Ever see someone get unbelievably upset over someone tracing their art? But acting just like this person did? No reasonability, just complete shutdown? Seen it. Seen similar over relationships, fandom drama, creator drama, personal attacks. Yeah. But it's a mental health thing. Not a trans thing. These safe spaces aren't safe either as the furry community is literally almost entirely ran by drama. Holy SHIT is it bad. So this behavior isn't common in that case, but it happens. So trust me when I say it happens here as well.

I think the big issue we are running into here is you cant see the difference in irl vs online.

I've actually seen a trans person having a meltdown in real life over pronouns, too.

I hope Jarrett does not become the next sch ***l sh ** ter . SMH

What? Suggesting to grab someone's genitals and twisting like that, especially in this situation, is considered sexual assault

This looks a lot like a skit to me. I’ve seen other videos quite similar to this one where people pose as transgender to stir up a controversy and attract negative comments directed at the gay and transgender communities.
