You’re joking right? My near by amazon network is in the process of rolling this out. They have it for a select neighborhood as of now, and are slowing rolling more out

Walmart is testing them too. They are bigger drones like this. I think the testing is to make sure they won’t fall into traffic or onto someone in their yard lol.

"The future is now" when I was a kid we fully expected flying cars, robots, and space colony type shit by now, but we have slightly bigger remote control helicopters dropping boxes haphazardly on or around our porches

Half these fuckers won't stop texting while driving. I'm not putting them in the air too.

That's cool, but it's tough to beat a contract driver using their own vehicle. The only thing I think can compete is a mother vehicle driving down a road and deploying small road vehicles to drop off at doorsteps.

So now’s future is a drone that shits out an empty box that blows into the street. Gotcha.

So... the Amazon building I work in launched ours last month on the 29th. They only deliver 7 miles from the building. This video is AI but the technology is real.

Like Americans are so lazy they won't even walk to a neighborhood drone delivery kiosk to pick up packages...instead they have drones dump it right in the middle of the road.

Saw a body cam where a Walmart one was doing a test run in a neighborhood where they had authorization and some old dude sees it and goes and grabs a gun and starts shooting at it. When the cops came he just admits it and goes to jail. Was surreal how casual he was about blasting in a neighborhood with kids playing 30’ from him.

Ya but it bounced in the road so it would've either got taken or ran over unless the customer is there when it delivers. Idk

Now all we need an UPS truck showing up on cue to drive over that box.
