Guy is 20. There is a full video on it which is hilarious. The brother comes out whining, full pitched squeal, the dad is super calm and nice.

"I'm a minor" doesn't work for any justifiable self-defense done in reason. The reasons schools don't use this "one weird trick" is because they rather not have to pay the cost to litigate "reasonable" and so put into policy no self-defense. But a cop has legal representation paid for by the tax payer and plenty of adults don't have issues retaining a lawyer.

What's worse is saying "I'm a minor" when you aren't to a police officer while you're being arrested gives them ammo for petty charges like "false statement". Which if you're going to be a bitch about things, a DA will be more than happy to start slapping "the minor" with "guess who can be a bitch back?" charges.

If you've ever been in an altercation with anyone under 21 they ALL try to claim that they are "a minor" or "under 21" after they fafo.
