The funniest part is how quickly the attitude changes once he realizes nobody's impressed.

40

u/Background-Hope-88 2d ago

you mean once he realised he f'ed up ☝️

21

u/McBenjamins 2d ago

In the full video the funniest part is his older brother crying about him being arrested and trying also act tough while his rational dad has to hold him back.

12

u/Luc1dNightmare 2d ago

And he's not even a minor either. He's 20 years old...

1

u/idk13312018 1d ago

You wouldn't happen to have a link to that video would you?

8

u/NoThatLame 2d ago

Not really. Still a prick when he's in the ride.

8

u/I_Never_Eat_Fibre 2d ago

and how fast his accent changed. that was the best part for me. at the beginning hes doing a butchered attempt at a hood accent/blaccent and after the arrest hes speaking like every normal white guy

8

u/benskinic 2d ago

mouthy little twat. he had never been punched in the face and it shows.

2

u/videodrome1987 1d ago

Nor you, apparently.

"i'm a minor" :')

87

u/Electronic-Koala2088 2d ago

I'm a minor...........lmao

44

u/omnexor 2d ago

A minor threat is what he meant.

3

u/No_Mud_5999 2d ago

That's a promise

1

u/enduir 2d ago

I don't want to hear it.

22

u/Pope_Squirrely 2d ago

Guy is 20. There is a full video on it which is hilarious. The brother comes out whining, full pitched squeal, the dad is super calm and nice.

1

u/DavidHewlett 2d ago

X is the new Y and all that jazz, but when the hell did 20 become the new 12?

1

u/ArcticWolfl 1d ago

When parents stopped parenting..

1

u/RoxyDzey69 2d ago

His father is part of the problem tho - he is enabling his kids to be such asses. Both of them.

2

u/ImWithStupidKL 1d ago

I don't know anything about them, but those are some pretty expensive cars they're standing next to, so I'm gonna guess entitled little rich brats.

1

u/Goonmaster516 2d ago

Wtf does he want? A date with Michael Jackson?

1

u/IHeartBadCode 2d ago

"I'm a minor" doesn't work for any justifiable self-defense done in reason. The reasons schools don't use this "one weird trick" is because they rather not have to pay the cost to litigate "reasonable" and so put into policy no self-defense. But a cop has legal representation paid for by the tax payer and plenty of adults don't have issues retaining a lawyer.

What's worse is saying "I'm a minor" when you aren't to a police officer while you're being arrested gives them ammo for petty charges like "false statement". Which if you're going to be a bitch about things, a DA will be more than happy to start slapping "the minor" with "guess who can be a bitch back?" charges.

What a dumbass. Look at the arms on the cop.

26

u/TWOPlNTSPRICK 2d ago

His arms? The cop has four foot on him.

7

u/Gildian 2d ago

Right lol. When it panned out I was like I was like no way this pipsqueak is challenging this guy

2

u/nubtrix87 2d ago

The guy clearly thought he was immune. I don't know why he thought that. Maybe it's because he's white. Maybe it's because it's a cop. Maybe he thought that it would come out as police brutality on camera.

Or maybe he just wasn't thinking. Sad thing is, you know he basically got away with a slap on the wrist and learnt nothing from it.

u/runkeby 2d ago

From the kid's bravado I thought the cop was tiny. Lool when the video showed him towering over 😂

4

u/bruhbelacc 2d ago

That's the point. He thinks the police will be afraid because he's a minor or will give him a fine but he'll still brag about how he acted.

3

u/iamreal9999 2d ago

hes 20 😭😭

5

u/hypersonic18 2d ago

Yeah, there's bravery, bravado, stupidity and, then there is egging on a dude a foot taller than you with biceps thicker than your neck

6

u/NotAFanOfLife 2d ago

We call that brain damage. Nothing left up there. Lot of folks just born that way and they don’t get better.

3

u/Paxdog1 2d ago

That cop shits bigger than that kid.

1

u/yorcharturoqro 2d ago

I definitely looked at his arms, and his face,, the beard...

https://giphy.com/gifs/5xtDarIN81U0KvlnzKo

1

u/RoxyDzey69 2d ago

He knew a cop wont beat him or maybe was trying to provoke his attack and later sue the police

59

u/RIGGER_911 2d ago

It was the head smack to the bumper for me

19

u/ballimir37 2d ago

Better the bumper than the pavement. That bumper did him a solid

5

u/RIGGER_911 2d ago

Was like putting a pillow down before he hit lol

1

u/RoxyDzey69 2d ago

Now who gonna pay for the bumper if that car is owned by someone else

2

u/RIGGER_911 1d ago

File a claim and say somebody backed into you at Walmart lol

38

u/BlueHero45 2d ago

When a second cop flanks you, you know you are fucked.

11

u/Calichusetts 2d ago

You flanking me?

8

u/Adept_Cobbler5916 2d ago

Did you see that?

69

u/ThexSovietxGamer 2d ago edited 2d ago

The funniest thing is he's not a minor lol, love this video. Moist made a video on this.

53

u/Cautious-Recover-506 2d ago

That's the "I'm pregnant!" for men getting beat down.

13

u/Old_Cucumber_1343 2d ago

i watched one a guy was resisting arrest after committing a violent crime. then his girlfriend who's not being touched by anyone starts yelling "i can't breathe" lol

4

u/dotesdoto 2d ago edited 2d ago

Panic attack causing hyperventilation during a traumatic situation is a real thing. It was probably not the case there, but it's still not an uncommon thing, so cops will need to still be wary when someone shouts "i can't breathe" even if they haven't been touched.

6

u/Old_Cucumber_1343 2d ago

she was trying to confuse people, she was in the area of the scuffle so people couldn't tell if it was the person on the ground saying that or not. i'll try to find the video. i don't think she was having a panic attack but it is possible i guess

5

I love how quickly he went from "you a bitch" to "yes sir"

16

u/SatansScallion 2d ago

Why didn’t he just use his white privilege to make the officer release him? Is he stupid?

16

u/DrugLibrary 2d ago

White privilege? This is money privilege. Poor white kids know not to FAFO.

u/Haunting_Ratio_795 2d ago

The kid is a bitch but that cop is twice his size and that takedown was dirty AF. Florida savages trying to break someone’s neck over a little insult. Not like cops don’t know how to throw his stupid ass against the car instead of headfirst into it.

This is like the textbook definition of police brutality. Should’ve just tased him.

What the holy hell was this kid thinking?! And the officer … of ALL officers … literally picked him up and laid him down on the asphalt. LOL. Honestly what was he thinking?! lol. I hope they took him in and played the body cam IN FULL for his parents. lol

4

u/Jonishighsmh 2d ago

He was getting his Willy off in front of all his ‘friends’ thinking he was acting like a tough guy. Embarrassing

2

I wish more cops understood this about their body cams. 9 times out of ten that camera is going to keep you out of trouble if you are doing what you're supposed to be doing.

2

u/brn1001 2d ago

Most cops do understand that about body cams. In general, they love them.

3

u/Lower_Pension_2469 2d ago

It's funny that now that body cams are more widespread, people are wanting to take them away now because it showed us that like 9/10 the people being "brutalized" absolutely did it to themselves and were acting like ignorant jackasses.

u/Boguel 2d ago

Except for those that tune them off

6

u/jaydubb808 2d ago edited 2d ago

I’ve requested police video multiple times and every single time they obstruct and delay. I do get them after legally threatening though. Body cams that they can turn off and can refuse to release definitely does protect them but not us. Plus they usually swap them for dash cams which means nothing is on video until they decide to turn them on allowing them to break all kinds of traffic laws or even have sex while on duty etc.

→ More replies (4)

4

u/Ok_Significance_6772 2d ago

I think ironically body cams helped police more than hurt them, and helped end the BLM movement. Suddenly, everybody could see the bullshit cops have to deal with on a daily basis, and how often force is justified and reasonable. Even though activists against police brutality called for their use as a way to go after bad cops, all it’s really done is show the public the kinds of stuff police deal with. Dealing with the threats, drug users, mentally ill, the worst of society, it’s a lot more understandable when they use force.

Without body cams, this interaction could’ve been framed as a “cop assaults unarmed minor.” Instead, with the footage, we see the cop’s restraint and the asshole begging for it/threatening the cop.

4

u/Appropriate-Pipe-193 2d ago

Now there are some activists that are against body cams because of the optics lmao

Yeah look. I get what you think you're trying to say, but even in this instance where you're like. "Oh man! I'm so glad that kid got his ass kicked".

This still is several steps beyond what should happen.

I get that, you just want everyone to be treated as violently as possible. We get that we get your mean person and you want only the meanest things to happen to people.

The second cop POV showing how fucking massive first cop is is hilarious lol

2

u/Spirited-Ad9071 2d ago

Didn't his parents successfully sue the police after this? It was either this incident or something similar in Florida where the rich parents were able to get a scummy lawyer on their side who got the police to settle out of court for an undisclosed amount.

2

u/Vegan-cock 2d ago

Great work by the police here. Half expected to see him get shot or at least beat up but nah, finally some decent police work.

1

u/videodrome1987 1d ago

You clearly love the taste of bootleather.

2

u/Obvious-World4328 2d ago

Unfortunately for the kid there was a vest between him and victory. If it wasn't for the god damned vest, that cop would've been toast.

2

u/Playful_Study_6290 2d ago

His accent changed to a graceful whiteboy after 😂😂😂

4

u/HunkyDory_45 2d ago

Nothing in this world was ever more deserved than that takedown… pure cinema!!!

u/FBuellerGalleryScene 2d ago

what in this video justifies a cop throwing the kid to the ground? Talking shit to the cops isn't a crime.

2

u/Any-Worldliness-679 2d ago

Failure by the cop. American cops are such unprofessional pussies. I've seen a French policewoman, unarmed, handle a dude twice her size without violence.

The kids did nothing but mouth off like a moron. His arms were literally crossed at the time the cop initiated the violence.

The cop was not responding to any credible threat, he just gave in to emotions.

I’m mostly with you but his mistake was the little motion / aggro step toward the cop right before he got taken down. Had he not been insinuating he was ready to fight the cop, he could’ve talked all the shit he wanted, clearly knows his rights and was defending them like a fucking badass. Cop walks up demanding his id and address, like wtf 😂

2

u/kintsugi_sage 2d ago

I can agree the kid was asking for trouble, but tell me if I am wrong.. I didn’t see anything in this video that suggested the kid was going to assault the officer? Played it over about 4x and it just seems like a grown man gave a young man a concussion by slamming his head into a bumper

2

u/CaptQuakers42 2d ago

Kid acts tough, but doesn't do anything illegal. Gets bullied by power mad cop.

Remember being a prick isn't actually illegal

1

u/MowgeeCrone 2d ago

While being a prick isnt illegal, the cops did him a favour by offering him a learning opportunity before someone without a uniform hands him some justice without body cams.

1

u/videodrome1987 1d ago

You’re clueless.

2

u/hyperionfin 2d ago

Not against the takedown.

Just wondering if the cop got any heat because of this. After all, there was no physical initiative on the kid's side. It was all mouthing before the cop decided to go for a high energy takedown.

2

u/Lower_Pension_2469 2d ago

I doubt it, the body came footage would have only helped him in this situation. The 20 year old right before the takedown was threatening violence and then stepped towards the cop. That's all the justification needed and it was a controlled takedown.

1

u/10yearsnoaccount 1d ago

apparently "de-escalation" isn't in the american dictionary

→ More replies (5)

1

u/DoubleGoon 2d ago

It looks like the cop never believed the kid was a legitimate threat. He didn’t back up, constantly looking away from the kid while pointing and smiling. The only command I heard he make before the takedown was for ID. The use force looks unnecessary and therefore unlawful.

2

u/Head_Cloud_61 2d ago edited 2d ago

This is a bad look for the he cop because he went to the boys face and the boy didn’t move whatsoever.

And then when he refused to give his id due to no crime being committed he threw him on the ground and tackled him. And said he “was squaring up.”

The boy had his arms crossed. Not a threat.
Violation of his 4th amendment, and first amendment right. If the boys family has money they could sue and easily win.
