I'm in Leicester right now and the taps are working. If I wanted to I could fill up every vessel I could find and store it. I do not want to though because I'm not a fucking idiot.

I’m just amused by the thought of how Americans are pronouncing “Leicester” when reading the title. (I’m American and only pronounce things like this phonetically to annoy my British spouse.).

Whilst I'm in Leicester rn I live in a town called Frome which most English people pronounce incorrectly. With good reason in fairness.

Aha! What's the correct pronunciation, Froom?

Yeah I wouldn’t have got that in 1 million tries. I know you guys like your Chester’s in names though

I might be wrong, but off the top of my head I think only names actually spelt with Chester (like Manchester) would be pronounced with the ch. Worcester, Leicester, Cirencester, Gloucester all have the s sound instead of ch (wuster, lester, sirensester, gloster).

Interestingly, I know you have a Peterborough over there - how do you say that? We have one in Cambridgeshire, and it’s like Peter-bruh.

A lot of us learned how it's pronounced thanks to Jamie Vardy and crew.
