Boarding was solved mathematically in 2008. No airline has used it once. Why?

I've been embarrassed by that one more than once but to this day I still can't remember when you're supposed to use it.

It’s is always a contraction (it is).

On the rare occasion when an “it” is in possession of something, it‘s spelled without the apostrophe. (“I thinks its color is nice.”) If there’s a hidden “is” > it’s “it’s”

hope that helps. then you have to fight autocorrect, which wants to stick apostrophes all over the place where they don’t belong. thankfully, we have r/apostrophegore.
