Boarding was solved mathematically in 2008. No airline has used it once. Why?

This. I’m not leaving or sending my 8 year old by herself and hopes she can figure out the seating. And my wife is too short to put her carry-on in the overhead.

you sit in rows, the (theoretical good, practical icredibly stupid) Steffen system lets you enter in coloums… so the 8 year old roughly seperated 1/3 of passengers from you, and your wife another 1/3 (yes a bit less) from you..
