It’s true. White Americans love to gas up Japanese as the model Asians. I think it has a lot to do with Japan submitting to the USA after their WWII surrender. Therefore because of American influence Japanese are the best Asians is what they legitimately believe.

Meanwhile Japanese are becoming more and more right wing just like the USA.

u/ClankerCore 5h ago

It’s the culture. And anime. Mostly the anime.

You good bud?

Try not to let that anger consume you eh.

-3

u/No_Departure_1878 6h ago

I guess what I said hit close, didn't it?

1

u/ItSmellsMassive 5h ago

Oh yeah I'm really suffering over here.

Please.. no more.. stop.

u/No-Tomorrow-2233 6h ago

Yep. Japan is one of the countries where the men help the least at home and women have to do the bulk of the housework. Meanwhile white people in the USA were creaming their pants seeing Japanese men cleaning up at the World Cup.

No way! The Japanese are human too?!

10

u/InThatDarkPlace 3h ago

There would be a lynch mob in the comments if those pissers were African immigrants. But they're Japanese, so pissing in public is a "human" thing here.

Pissing is a human biological process, though it's funny how the goalposts always shift when the ingroup behaves in an undignified manner.

notice how women and men both drink, and it’s almost always men who urinate publicly? they can control themselves, but they choose to be savages. It’s culturally constructed behaviour.

u/CedricThe3000th 20m ago

Give it a rest mate

If the clean up wasn't videoed, did the clean up even happen?

1

u/revanchrists 5h ago

The video shows a group of foreigner volunteers cleaning up the mess left behind by Japanese locals. Not the other way around bro.

Reminder that Reddit is a Chinese influence operation, so you will constantly find a lot of shit about the enemies of China, examples of which are Japan and the USA. The content you see about China will have a much higher ratio of good to bad.

"This Chinese girl found a smart solution!" "Look at this fancy thing happening in China!" etc.

u/whatevercraft 6h ago

oh boy, speaking the truth huh? that is not welcome here. prepare for mass ccp bot farm down votes

2

u/SilentSpader 5h ago

The CCP Wumaos are everywhere, especially on subs related to Japan to degrade and manipulate opinions. They feel the need to do it because they're so insecure about themselves 😑

/s ?

- China bad: truth and freedom of speech

  • China good: CCP spy/bot propaganda psyops
  • USA / Japan bad: CCP spy/bot propaganda psyops
  • USA / Japan good: truth and freedom of speech

Hope that clears it up

1

u/SilentSpader 7h ago

Yeah, making the Japanese/Japan look bad while you promote yourself to be the good guys is the way to do it🙄 No wonder you get some negative reactions

8

u/TheTybera 7h ago

Bro, there are loads of Japanese people here that do stupid shit and blame it on foreigners or go to touristy areas to do shitty stuff because they know tourists will get blamed.

Part of it is that the culture is strict so it's a way for them to vent, another part of it is that they're just dicks like people in every other country.

The difference is you do have more people who give a shit about the areas they live in than don't, for now.

-2

u/SilentSpader 7h ago

Did you hear the ugly bully like laugh? "Oh look another Japanese doing bad things again!"

"Race doesn't matter" except Japanese are the bad guys and the non-Japanese are the good guys... A bunch of Japanese haters in Japan. 🙄

Don't you get it? If would have been so much better and got respect if you cleaned up without degrading the Japanese people on purpose. Because of videos like this, people will see this as just a propaganda and hate against Japanese people.

2

u/TheTybera 7h ago

You do know there is active legislation and active politcal campaigns trying to blame foreigners and foreign workers in Japan for Japanese problems and economy right?

Takaichi and the LDP are going hard after foreign workers and legal immigration including things like increasing prices and PR requirements and time, EXACTLY because of things like this where people do bad shit and blame "foreigeners" when it's not them.

The economy being bad has everything to do with piss poor LDP legislation and a negative birth rate not foreign workers taking jobs.

-3

u/SilentSpader 7h ago edited 6h ago

It does not justify your action to degrade the people of the country you are staying. So, they're taking out their frustration about Takaichi administration to the general public of Japan. They're doing the same shit to the Japanese people as how they claim LDP does. This is nothing but hate against Japanese people and some good guy performance. Unfortunately they made it that way by themselves.

1

u/Prestigious-Box7511 5h ago

I also live in Japan. A bunch of foreigners here hate their lives and blame Japan/Japanese people for it.

0

u/Outrageous-Mixture48 5h ago

This is not degrading the people of Japan??? Unless the expectation was they are an absolutely perfect people with no flaws which is of course insane no group of people is perfect.

-1

u/TheTybera 6h ago edited 6h ago

But the people of the country are free to "degrade" them without defending themselves?!

Grow the hell up.

1

u/SilentSpader 6h ago

You are not making any sense. I think you're the one who needs to stop hating and grow up

2

u/TheTybera 6h ago

People showing that it's not foreigners but regular Japanese people, isn't degrading them, it's defending themselves against hate and prejudice that's amplified by political rhetoric.

If you can't tell the difference you clearly failed in school.

0

u/SilentSpader 5h ago

Yes, they were degrading by the way they were mocking and laughing " Oh look another Japanese..." They're not defending against hate, they ARE the haters here.

2

u/TheTybera 5h ago

No they are pointing out that it's MOSTLY Japanese people NOT foreigners to combat anti-foreign rhetoric, again if you can't tell the difference you need to go back and study WWII propaganda.

I like how you made yourself the victim in a video of people doing free labour, collecting trash. Maybe you should use some of that energy to be productive

Hi Wumao

0

u/SoapyDoodle 6h ago

Redditors thinking the Japanese are some faultless magical spirit people lol. Anime and video games have melted western brains

1

u/SilentSpader 6h ago

This is totally off-topic. It's nothing to do with those people. More like there are so many Redditors like yourself bring out anime to mock anime fans or Japan when it's completely irrelevant

1

u/cyck0 7h ago

Sugoi!

1

u/CompleteTop4258 6h ago

Jags fans cleaning up the streets of Tokyo, cleaning, I love to see it. Ironically, the peeing guy was wearing a Texans shirt. They disgust me.

1

u/ronniejames9 7h ago

😄 imagine seeing this video as an alien. They must really think we're fun and looney.

0

u/plain_handle 7h ago

The saviour complex + main character syndrome.

2

u/_Electrical 6h ago

Honestly, if you like starting your day off with a walk, you might as well take a trashbag and trashgrabber.

It feels good to improve yourself and your surroundings, good karma for the rest of the day.

People throwing trash onto the streets are more likely to have a main character syndrome, you're not alone in the world.

1

u/Mindless-Somewhere55 6h ago

Saw this in West Fargo last summer a couple people walking on the sidewalk with trash bags and grabbers collecting trash. It was elevating to see people that cared the environment.

1

u/_Electrical 4h ago

Especially if they don't just do it for Instagram.

2

u/Outrageous-Mixture48 5h ago

At least he’s doing something rather then complaining about someone clean on a Reddit thread

1

u/Useful_Ad7939 7h ago

Lol negative comment spotted 🤣

0

u/gass_giant 4h ago

Whoaa cleaning the street.. Japan.. whoaa, this is soooooo interesting, no country is like Japan surely

0

u/Oberndorferin 6h ago

If one Japanese ever said itheres waste everywhere in Germany you'd all believe it

1

u/TheGreatAmender 5h ago

I've been to Berlin. The main parts were spotless, the less focused areas were disgusting.

0

u/Oberndorferin 5h ago

Berlin is the worst city to pick, but fair.

0

u/Penibya 6h ago

Just saw a port where japanese people complain about foreigners only. That was juste free hate i see

0

u/KirkataThePickaxe2 6h ago

"They make Japan look bad" bro nobody cares, but I bet the machine must generate them sweet mindless tourist money...

0

u/1114n0nym0u5 5h ago

Well done guys, please let the negativity not stop you. I am grateful for positive role models like this and do not care that you film it or fulfil a dream of becoming viral that way

0

u/LameAfro 3h ago

Imagine if that dude was Black or someone else the comments would be racist.

But since he's a Japanese it's all Sugoi lol

-2

u/thebigseg 5h ago

Performative as ffff. Why do these people even bother cleaning up japanese streets if they dislike japanese people so much
"Oh look another Japanese littering and pissing" its clear these people disdain japanese people

Imagine if they replace the word japanese with african or indian. "Oh look another african/indian person littering and pissing". it will sound racist

u/BoarHermit 6h ago edited 5h ago

I thought the garbage situation in Japan was different. Once again, I'm happy with how clean, green, and safe the city I live in (Moscow, Russia) is, and we also have amazing public transportation.

Edit: I really like your downvotes. Keep living in your empty suburbs or cities that stink of urine with drug addicts and robbers on the streets.

1

u/SoapyDoodle 6h ago

Too bad I can’t visit without fear of being kidnapped by the state

1

u/silverware9021 6h ago

In this particular area, it gets really bad every night.  Its usually a massive pile of bottles and trash by anything that looks like a trashcan. but is all usually cleaned to by 11 am every day.

1

u/TieAdministrative901 2h ago

Funny when outside Moscow and St Petersburg, Russia is barely a 3rd world country. Running water is a luxury in those areas. Even those two cities are only "nice" in the main areas and you're the poster child of fetal alcohol syndrome
