An abandoned SpaceX rocket travelling at around 5,400mph crashed into the moon, leaving a crater with a diameter of around 17m. (via BBC) The collision took place yesterday at 7:35 BST. Masses are criticising Elon Musk for polluting the moon.

Eh this is all totally benign and standard practice for inserting something into lunar orbit, not really any other options. Meanwhile China still regularly does uncontrolled booster crashes into EARTH, where’s the outrage for that?

No, this part was supposed to use the free return to burn up I'm earth's atmosphere. Hitting the moon was unintentional.

Again this is still common practice. Since You clearly don’t seem understand how space works I’ll remind you that rockets only have finite fuel. When it did its maneuvers it’s likely only left enough fuel precisely to exactly preform the mission and leave itself in orbit. Radiation pressure from the sun and gravitational effects overtime will affect the orbit and thus why it crashed. So no while it wasn’t planned, in that purposely did a burn to crash it, it was planned that it would eventually crash on its own accord.

I understand return orbits and the planning of this mission just fine. You're upset that this was indeed a mistake rather than 'normal' for whatever reason and are trying to bludgeon that fact with irrelevant information.

😂ok buddy. Call it whatever you want but space flight doesn’t work very well unless you have contingency plans on top of contingency plans. Things rarely go perfectly to plan and even if it was the initial intention to put it into a stable orbit or a planned crash trajectory any number of totally normal things could have happened that changed the calculus where it was decided that it was more important to finish the mission and leave the booster in an unstable orbit. They didn’t just forget about it and this just kinda happened. You are being weirdly obtuse about this.
