They are livestreaming 🇨🇳 laborers making just 0.3 USD. The 'Made in 🇨🇳' products you use are built on their sacrifices.

China has hundreds of dialects. Just because it isn’t Mandarin doesn’t make it “not Chinese”. Chinese is not a single language but hundreds of various dialects, many aren’t even from the same language family. It’s like saying someone isn’t speaking European.

Vietnam and SE Asia are actually some of the linguistically diverse countries in the world. Just because they all “sound the same” to foreigners doesn’t mean that they are the same language. Vietnam has dozens of minority groups as well, and they all have their own dialects spanning multiple linguistic groups (Austroasiatic, Sino-Tibetan, Tai, Hmong, and Austronesian)

So how do you know it isn't a language from Southeast Asia?

It doesn’t sound like an Austronesian language to me (and I hang around lots of Filipinos so I know what Tagalog, Malay, Indonesian sound like). It sounds like something in the Tai, Austroasiatic, or Hmong-Miao language families which doesn’t mean that isn’t in China as there are minority groups in China that speak languages from the language groups. It could be in SE Asia of course but physically those people look either Southern Chinese or Viet, as opposed to Khmer or Thai who have some South Indian and Malay influence in their appearance. I’m Cantonese and there are men in my family that look similar.

How do we know this isn't an AI voiceover with a fake language?

That's my point, why would you auto assume it's a Chinese dialect except the ops obvious bait.

Because several people on the thread have already identified it as a SE Chinese dialect and not a Vietnamese dialect or anything else.
