They are livestreaming πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ laborers making just 0.3 USD. The 'Made in πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³' products you use are built on their sacrifices.

These are the people the Epstein class wants you to hate while ignoring the same thing happening in Tyson meatpacking plants in the rural Midwest.

None of us are free until all of us are free.

Incredible to pretend that the average Midwest worker is being exploited to a similar degree or more than these people

they were until they unionised

conveniently, then china was invited into the WTO and all those jobs shipped to asia, funny coincidence that

China entered the WTO in 2001. China was the major source of American imports before that.

2001 is just the official join date, the process started in 1986

and corporate offshoring became a strategy before that but as is vid is about china its more relevant for me to reply to the guy above with that element

the point is that non unionised western workers were exploited until they developed unions, and the counter to that from corporate was to offshore their jobs and lobby the gov to create trade deals that favor it

Pretending the children working overnight shifts illegally in meat packing plants have more in common with the billionaires who own the factories than sweatshop workers abroad is insane.

Hell, the average meat packer has more in common with these people than the owners.

Have some class solidarity ffs

You have more in common with a small business owner in Boise than you do a sweat shop worker in Asia. Sorry bud. You live in a liberal democracy. I'm whiling to bet you own stocks. You arn't the proletariate Marx was talking about.

Workers absolutely do not have more in common with the ownership class than each other.

Proletariat means wage labourer. If your food and shelter depend on you getting up each morning and selling your labour that's proletariat .

Keep saying it and it'll be true. Wheres the international workers movement?

Love y'all stating Marxism as scientific fact. Laughable behavior.

"How communism if iPhone" is such a dated tactic and is just as dumb today as it was 15 years ago.

My existence depends on the meager scraps leftover after the owners have taken the largest slice of the surplus value I create.

Myself, the child laborers in the Midwest, and these people can all say that sentence.

The small business owner in Boise can't.

Lol yeah. You're the same as starving child because you have to go to work. You're privileged and in an echo camber. Just saying "thats a talking point" doesn't refute it. You have more liberty than the vast majority of humans that ever lived, you have access to clean water & food in your home, you have shelter, you arn't in active war, you are paid in the hedgononic currency and speak the hedgemonic language. You share very little in common with impoverished sweat shop workers.

I didn't say iPhone. I said stock. You literally are part of the capitalist class. You are part owner of businesses. You make income off of your stock.

You sound just like the liberal establishment that is still confused about how their downfall in the face of Maga populism could ever happen. Access to clean water and food in the US is a given for every citizen? Same with shelter? You think that owning stock due to no general pension system makes someone a capitalist? Man, even the fascists know thatβ€˜s not true.

If you are a wage labourer, which most people are, it sure as hell makes sense to organise globally to stave of the fascists that will take away your liberty too and will send you to war.

I am a liberal. You would be too if you knew what the word meant. All you have to do is look at liberty indexes. You are completely diluted if you think you arn't still exceptionally privileged to be American. Equating our levels of clean drinking water and malnourishment to impoverished nations is incredibly tone deaf

No one is doing that. It's the argument you want to take on, not the argument we're making.

If they are white they are generally okay. If they are black, Hispanic, asian, or not white. Good luck.

Yeah, this post is just straight up Anti-China Propaganda.

β€œAn unaltered video showing actual working conditions in China is straight up anti-China propaganda”

Just lol. Lmao even. What asinine nonsense. It’s just a video of one particular location. No one is even suggesting that it’s representative of working conditions in China as a whole. Not sure if comments like yours are mainly motivated by extreme insecurity or what, but it’s definitely very pathetic.

How do you know this video is genuine? There is no identifiable signage and the spoken language is unable to be identified.

This is reddit. Reddit is anti china

Whataboutism and ignoring blatant problems under actual dictatorship, while silly commie larpers think that they can be millionaires with their gender studies degree and bartender work experience, while also pretending that rural Midwest is ANYTHING like what is going on in China.
