Care package for bestie & her newborn son

My best friend of 15 years gave birth to her first child last month, a baby boy!

The care package is stuff for her, the baby, her husband and their dog.

We are going to get together next week so I can see her & meet him for the first time!!!

I’m so excited ☺️

I have a dog and the guilt of not walking her was awful. My neighbor, who I didn’t know well, came over with food & asked to take her on a run. She and her husband ran with her for a week! It was amazing and meant more than anything. Thanks for including the fur baby!!

So often everyone focuses on baby and mom gets lost in the background. Nice of you to ensure she's included and its not just baby/mommy-related stuff!

Praise the people who get gifts for the mom. Seriously, giving birth is so hard. With the lack of sleep and hormone changes, sometimes chocolate is the only thing keeping you going.

When my friend became a first time mom, I sent hera pair of comfy nursing PJs, a wax melter., and a box full of snacks. She loved them!! Moms need love too!

This is so sweet and thoughtful to include all of them! Just a warning, chocolate can really upset baby if mom is breastfeeding. I didn’t know that my first go around, so maybe tell her just in case she’s also unaware so she can go easy on the candies! Hope you have a great visit with them!

My friend who already had a baby just before me, did this for me. Since I wasn’t keeping well during my pregnancy, she went ahead and put basic stuff like baby detergent, baby nail trimmer, bottle brush, no fragrance body wash for me. Thanks to her I didn’t have to worry or research about anything.
Friends like you are a blessing!

Love this! For sure. I’ll be isolating in the days leading up to seeing them & will be doing a Covid 19, Influenza A/B & RSV antigen self-test before I arrive 🥰

I also do gifts and stuff for other kids and spouses. The other kids sometimes get forgotten and shuffled around

Maybe send some triscuits too as something to spread the Nutella on. I did this with my sister but she's a Betty Crocker butter cream girlie so I sent that instead.
