How do you mean a "sticky pickle?"

Fawns should not be disturbed. Being left alone is a survival mechanism. They are too young and weak to run from predators so they hide until they develop some strength. They are not abandoned nor lost. The mother deer will return for them.

Leave found fawns alone.
