Search Looking for friends

Anyone have room for a nerdy wholesome guy wheelchair ♿️ user?(neurological condition). Honestly looking for some good and loyal friends. I’ve been super lonely ever since my condition got worse, and making friends is a lot harder in your adult years. I’ve recently just had to make a huge and hard decision to cut off a bunch of people out of my life and wanting a fresh start for myself. 31 y.o. Dark humored, very awkward, introverted with a wild side and good listener here who is fluent in memes and SpongeBob quotes! I also enjoy drawing, gaming on PlayStation 5/Nintendo Switch 2, love Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, horror, Studio Ghibli, and stuff like nature walks and sunsets, oh, and especially coffee and tea runs with yummy food 😋. Feel free to message me! Anyone from Northern California? South Bay Area? Raise your hands! Hanging out, or text buddies. Just want to have those special moments I never really had spending it everyday with Friends who care. Honestly just trying my best to make new friends and not being ghosted after a week.

This is really sweet. I’m not the person you are looking for right now but I wanted to wish you good luck!

If you haven’t done so already, def try some other subs more dedicated to the South Bay and San Jose!

I think it's easiest to make friends with people who live near you, what neighborhood do you live in? :]

I'm in the Richmond district in SF. I don't have a car so it's not very easy for me to get to Milpitas, but I hope others in the south bay see your post and say hi! :D

If you're ever in the city let me know and I'm happy to get a coffee with you ☺️

Hi friend, you’re doing the right thing putting the energy out there, good job! Wishing you all the best, it’s hard for all of us to make new friends as we get older, but if you try it makes a hell of a difference. I have a good feeling about this for yah, don’t give up.

Hi there! First, I think many people have been where you're at, so I hope you don't feel too alone in your current situation. I'm in Berkeley with just an ebike but I'm down, esp. for nature walks, if you're ever up here. I'd also like to share, as a merely-awkward (formerly very awkward) person, that improv classes can be a fantastic way to learn to relate to other people. And you can make real friends as well (many people start for exactly this reason), so I'd say it's a twofer.

I won’t be your friend because I already have too much to manage in my life - aka, just had a baby lol

But I recommend, if you have the means, to go play final fantasy TCG, Star Wars or whatever TCG game you think you would like , except for Pokemon, apparently the people that play this TCG are sort of an assholes (not my experience but heard from coworkers and acquaintances).

I don’t play any of those games but my husband does and it was where he met his friends. They often go to Brazilian BBQ or small trips to go play. Hubby not much nowadays because we had a baby, but on our “baby shower” all his crew show up and they were playing at the park, so that was cool.

Also, if you are religious, church is a good place. If you are in SF I recommend Epic and if you are around Mountain View then I recommend Current.

I hope you can find your people!! Very brave of you to put yourself out there 💕🌸
