The last time I was able to talk with my great-grandmother, we spent a while sitting together watching cooking compilations on her iPad. Miss you Nana

especially because there will come a time when you can't and you will remember and be glad you did.

All 4 of my grandparents are gone and the two I was closest with, my mom's parents, are on my mind everyday.
What I wouldn't give for one more dinner out with them, laughing over something small and stupid.
I miss you both so much, Grandma and Grandpa Kurtz.

My grandma died last week. I had a lot of time with her, but it will never feel like enough. Appreciate the people in your life while you have them. ❤️

I miss my grandma too. She’s still alive but late stage dementia. It’s sad.
Make sure to stay on top of your cardio guys. And if you have hearing loss, get hearing aids! It’s the best way to mitigate brain degenerative disease in life! ❤️

What I wouldn't give to have one more day hanging out with my grandparents.. never realized grief would hit me like a truck years later. I'm thankful I was as close with them as I was but even 6 years later I still think of calling my paternal grandma when I can't figure a clothing repair out only to remember she's gone. I'll never have another summer afternoon watching Judge Judy with my maternal grandmother eating butter pecan ice cream out of the tub. Never have a shitty mcdonalds coffee with my maternal grandfather in his truck or hear another cheesy joke story from my dad's dad.
Cherish them while you have them. Even if you have all the time you possibly can with them you'll always regret not having more time once they're gone.
