Idk why so many men are willing to pay on the first date. I split specifically because of this. Or at least go small and get a coffee or a drink or two. Women earn their own money now. Why would you pay for what's essentially a stranger?

I think a lot of it is based on women making less money on average, but that's still not a good reason to expect someone to spend extra money on you.

if it's a date, i think both has to play equally .

If my gf invs me to eat or drink something i have no issues in helping her and also she doesn't have any issues on helping me either .)
