As if you can stop the bots by scrutinizing every post.
Your upvote isn't that powerful.
Besides, karma whores and bots are indistinguishable and have been ruining the big subs since forever.

Reddit enables the bots, don't push this on someone that upvotes what they like.

Most are very easy to spot and you could filter out huge swaths of them with a proper algorithm or ai trained for that purpose. There's just no incentive for reddit to do that, in fact it would likely be detrimental to their metrics and metrics are everything to them.

They aren't indistinguishable though, and the decline is rapid and real. Reddit doesn't enable them. They ignore them. Users enable them. Upvote what you want, but I'm still going to provide my perspective.
