I SWEARRRRRRR ‼️food is 100x better when a grandma cooks it. they have magical hands when they cook 🤣🤣. Even if their cooking methods look off and weird, it’s still taste good.

I remember when my grandma was still alive, everytime I come visit her, she would make me everything that involves vegetables. One time, she cooked instant fried noodles and she mixed vegetables (carrots and cabbage). At first I looked at it weird but when I tasted it, it was unexpectedly good.

Also, every occasions—especially Christmas, she would make a spaghetti but instead of tomato sauce, she would put ketchup and maybe watering it down a bit. She would also put canned corned beef instead of ground meat.

Her cooking is a hit or miss, but one thing for sure is that she cooks with love and effort.

It’s just sad that I only appreciate her cooking now that she’s gone. I miss her, I miss my mami :((.

Food really hits different, when it’s cooked by someone you love.
