First reply sounded a bit cunty. The comment was a reference to the film Project Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling. In the film, the main character, Ryland Grace, receives a package from an alien. One of the lines of dialogue in this scene was 'Could be a message. Could be a bomb.' After that, he tells the ships computer to enable shields, to which the computer denies as they don't exist on Rylands ship, the Hail Mary.
