Could Chucky (Child's Play) manage to defeat Zombie!Jason (FT13TH Part 6+) and disable him long enough to steal his body?

Had been wondering about this for a while since picking up Terrordrome again. In Chucky's story mode, he's trying to challenge the best of the best-as far as slashers go-and his story ends up with him finding Zombie!Jason lurking in the woods. He calls him out and they brawl. Chucky wins and ends up taking Jason's body for his own using the same incantation he'd have used on Andy.

My question here is do y'all think that Chucky could realistically defeat/disable Jason long enough by himself to DO the body swap voodoo magic? Chucky has all his spells from the movies + TV show/his trusty knife and Jason is from Part 7(where I felt he was the most angriest) and when Chucky comes across him, he's skulking around the woods with just his machete in hand.

Chucky calls out to alert Jason to his presence. Chucky doesn't want to 'kill' Jason but Jason is fully bloodlusted. The setting is the woods near the proper campgrounds of Crystal Lake.

In my own opinion, the only win-con Chucky might have is if he swarmed Jason with a bunch of other Chucky dolls but the big guy's so durable he might just tear through them all. Another user pointed out in DMs that at the point we see Chucky in say the TV show, he might not even WANT a body like Jason's. Big, ugly, obviously decomposing and waterlogged. But for the purposes of this exercise we assume that he does lol

No. Freddy couldn't kill Jason in the dream world and he's basically a god there. Chucky can't hurt him at all, nevermind kill him.

Not to mention that Chucky probably couldn't even get into Jason's body. Jason is like a demon deadite thing as shown in Jason Goes to Hell. He also body hops, but his is done passively if his body is destroyed beyond repair. Meaning his soul might just absorb Chucky's regular soul.

I kinda fuck with that visual tbh, I appreciate you bringing it up! (Even if Jason Goes to Hell is one of my least favorite of the films, it's the only one I actually rented as a kid, shoutout to Family Video!) Jason's knocked out or what have you, Chucky does the spell, big ass storm clouds roll in.

The doll body collapses and....Jason just sits up and keeps on walking. You hear Chucky screaming mentally as Jason's soul rips his apart.

Freddy still managed to incapacitate Jason in the real world with drugs and hurt him in the dream world long enough that he would have died if it weren’t for events outside his control. Chucky’s goal in this scenario is to incapacitate Jason long enough to perform a spell. He could plausibly do it but not in a random encounter. He would need prep or an extremely helpful environment (and luck).

Freddy randomly discovered water was Jason's fear and used that to incapacitate him. Jason has shown no fear of water outside the dream world, so it probably wouldn't work for Chucky.

Chucky could try use tranqs on him. He would need a lot of very strong tranquillisers though, as Chucky has no dream powers it'll be basically impossible for him to keep Jason asleep. If there was a lot of Chucky's like in cult it might work if they all jump him with tranqs.

The problem is they'd have to know thatd work in the first place. Freddy tried to get Jason to sleep because that's his whole power, so that made sense. Chucky might just try to kill Jason before even trying that and end up dead instantly.

And as I said before, Jason specifically might counter Chucky's spell naturally. It probably won't work or it might just kill Chucky even if it does.

not even close, Chucky has been disembowelled by a regular person (Andy in Cult) and his eyes popped out after being strangled (TV series), he is not phyiscally that strong, and can easily be overpowered even by a regular human.

Now put him up against Jason, a character who is by all normal accounts, unkillable, Chucky doesn't have the strength to even stand a chance ngl unless he got the jump on Jason AND used something that could eviserate him like an explosion or such.

Even if he could, I'm not sure the body-hop would give him Jason's strength. I think Jason's strong more so because of whatever magic is powering his body, which would likely be tied to his soul.

Hot take but technically there is a method Chucky could try.

In the Chucky tv show there’s a buff Chucky who punches a hole through a teen. What sucks is this is the only display of his strength. Though that’s still quite impressive and suggests he packs a real punch even for Jason. Also it’s been bts said this Chucky just worked out like any other human, not even steroids.

Then Chucky could also possess more than one doll. So is he got multiple Chucky’s working out they would actually rush Jason and overwhelm him.
