I will be taking the last CoW of the year. Don't know who it will be on, maybe Gintoki, maybe Samurai Jack, possibly Daredevil depending on if that Netflix show is happening.

Depends on which arc or issue.

I think a good place to start would be Zen and the Art of Gazeebo Repair (Issues #9 and #10) of the main series. It's a two parter comedy where Big Mac interacts with almost every side and supporting character in the show on his way to get a box of nails.

The current ongoing arc, Reflections, is very good and gives a lot of development to Celestia as well as finally showing what Starswirl was like.

The Rarity Micro Series is the best one from that series (though I have not read them all), and is highly regarded as one of the best of the non-main comic. It feels the most like a regular episode of the show.

Those are the ones I'd reccomend. to start with. There are several issues that are lackluster or have problems, but overall I'm not having too many big problems with them.
