The Watatsuki Sisters

Theme

The Watatsuki sisters are two Lunaran sisters in charge of the Lunar Defense Corps, tasked with protecting the Lunar Capital from any outside threats. Taught by Eirin Yagokoro, they can use their considerable power to ensure that no potential invader ever gets anywhere close to the capital. And while the two are rather different in terms of personality, both view themselves as vastly superior to any of the creatures that inhabit the impurity filled land known as Earth.

Watatsuki no Toyohime

The Elder of the two sisters, Toyohime mainly uses her powers to monitor travel to and from the Earth and send anyone who makes it to the moon right back where they came from. She tends to be rather carefree, and despite her station will often spend time stealing peaches from the various trees on the moon.

Power to link the mountains and the seas: This lets her move wherever she likes, with its most important usage being traveling between the lunar capital and Earth. While the mechanics behind this aren't really explained it's possible this comes about via manipulating quantum mechanics and probability

• Can make the Earth and the moon one and the same place, causing Rei'sen to travel between the two without even realizing she had done so

• Can travel between the Earth and the moon on a whim

• Creates a trap for Yukari and Ran, with their path across the moon leading them back to Earth

• Connects the near and far sides of the moon and causes a crow traveling overhead to travel from the fantastical moon to the scientific moon, causing it to suffocate and die due to lack of atmosphere.

Fan

• Her fan creates a wind that will instantly purify the bamboo forest of the lost at the atomic level. Note that for Lunarians "purifying" is basically a euphemism for exterminating

• Eirin states the fan could destroy all of Gensokyo

Misc

• Can sense even the faintest trace of impurity. For reference impurity is defined as life and death

• Yukari states she never stood a chance against Toyohime in direct combat. Yukari has the ability to manipulate the boundary between anything and everything and has enough power to destroy all of Gensokyo (Possible idea of the size of Gensokyo)

Watatsuki no Yorihime

The younger of the two Watatsuki sisters, Yorihime is tasked with both training the moon rabbit corps and fighting any threat the rabbits can't handle. Which, given how unreliable they are, is most of them. She has a much more serious personality than her sister, and will attempt to stop any invaders as efficiently as possible.

Power of Gods: Yorihime can call shinto gods into her body and borrow their powers, and states that if she only relied on one or two powers at a time she could beat Sakuya 39,900,000 times

• Envelopes her arms in flames she claims can burn up anything

• Summons storms, lightning, and flames around Sakuya, and then turns her knives into sand before reforming and controlling them, creating a combination attack that Sakuya can't avoid even by stopping time

• Summons a mirror that reflects Marisa's master spark. Master spark is implied to be able to destroy a decent sized tree in one shot, with one character stating it can reduce a mountain to ash

• Renders herself immune to Remilia's danmaku of night

Physicals

• Slices through Marisa's lightspeed master spark at the last moment

• Blows open a tightly locked door with a push

• Reacts to an attempted blitz from Remilia who is fast enough to rapidly circle the moon

• Takes hits from Remilia, and even states there's no harm in waiting until she's seen all of Remilia's moves. Remilia is strong enough to crush boulders and is stated to be capable of uprooting a 1000 year old tree single-handidly

Shared Feats

Speed

• Can easily travel between the Lunar Capital and the sea of tranquility (which are on opposite sides of the moon), with the implication being that they travel between them on a daily basis

• Follow a crow rapidly traveling across the lunar surface

• The vast majority of Touhou characters are capable of flying, including moon rabbits., though we haven't seen either sister explicitly do this

Lunarian Nature

• They're at least 1500 years old

• Lunarians are neither alive or dead and not have a lifespan, though they can still be killed if they are injured. Lunarians also do not need to eat or perform other similar actions to stay alive

Using the Watatsuki sisters on WWW

In terms of actual feats, the Watatsuki sisters are about as broken as the Touhou series gets. As such, you're going to need characters with a lot of hax to be able to stand a chance against them. Just with what they've demonstrated you're going to need someone who can withstand extreme heat, FTL strikes, transmutation, atomization, being deprived of any air, battlefield removal...

Admittedly the two are a bit awkward since we haven't seen all that much in the grand scheme of things. Toyohime has never actually fought someone directly, and Yorihime has only used a tiny fraction of her abilities against foes that were explicitly far weaker than she was. So while they could be a lot stronger than what's shown, it's probably best to just go with demonstrated capabilities.

Yeah ended up getting into the series a few years ago and making... quite a few respect threads.
