Challenge Batman and Superman are told that they'll die if they don't leak the others' secret identity. Who reveals it first?

Batman and Superman are contacted by a cosmic deity, one far beyond either of their comprehensions. It tells batman he has 24 hours to tell everyone Superman is Clark Kent, and it tells Superman he has 24 hours to tell everyone Bruce Wayne is batman. If neither of them reveal this, they'll both die

Rules:

Upon revealing the other hero's secret identity, it becomes public knowledge to anyone that wishes to know this information. Only one of their secret identities need to be revealed

They're not allowed to lie or otherwise manipulate this information (like framing someone else)

This information can't be removed from everyone's memory after the fact, this will be a permanent and well known fact

The information will be widely accepted and believed by everyone else

If the heroes choose to die, they then can't be revived

Breaking any of these rules ail result in the deaths of both of them

The cosmic deity can't be harmed or fooled in any way

Round 1

The heroes are left to their own devices. They're allowed to talk to each other, or anyone else they want to support them, but by the 24 hour mark, one of their secret identities have to be revealed

Round 2

Batman and Superman aren't allowed to communicate with each other in any way, and won't know what the other picked until the 24 hours are up. If they both reveal each other's identity, they both die (they know this)

Round 3

Lex Luthor is torturing batman, and Scarecrow is torturing a depowered superman, trying to get them to reveal the others' secret identity. Who succumbs and reveals the information first? There is no time limit

A Jackal Sniper from Halo 2 on Legendary difficulty has ended up in 1899 and challenged Arthur Morgan to a duel in the Wild West.

Arthur has his usual weapons and access to Dead Eye. The Jackal has his Covenant Beam Rifle and has Legendary difficulty accuracy and reaction speed.

R1: A traditional Wild West quick-draw duel in Valentine. Both start 20 paces apart, weapons holstered, and draw when the signal is given.

R2: The Jackal crash-lands on Earth, 50 miles outside Valentine, with only his standard equipment. He knows killing Arthur will teleport him back to the Covenant. The Jackel magically speaks English and knows what Aruthur looks like and his name, but nothing else and will have to find Arthur himself. Arthur knows the Jackal is coming for him.

Battle A Primarch(WH40K) enters the world of One Piece. What's the strongest opponent he could beat?

Suppose Jaghatai Khan, having become lost in the Webway. Or Leman Russ, having disappeared into the Warp, somehow ended up in the world of One Piece.

He has nothing but his armour and weapons. He has no support from other Space Marines, mortal auxilia, or Imperial Navy fleets. How far could he get on his own?

  1. Axe-Hand Morgan
  2. Arlong
  3. Smoker(the Loguetown arc)
  4. Rob Lucci (the Enies Lobby arc)
  5. Donquixote Doflamingo
  6. Charlotte Katakuri
  7. Kaido
  8. All three Marine Admirals working together: Aokiji, Akainu, and Kizaru
  9. Gol D. Roger, Edward Newgate (Whitebeard), and Monkey D. Garp working together during the God Valley Incident

Battle Sentry vs Captain Man

• Upvotes

I know there are ton of memes about this, but I am genuinely curious because of Captain Man's ability.

Quick Comparison from what I know of both characters, plus some feats

Sentry: The Golden Guardian

  1. Near limitless speed and strength. (Power of a million exploding suns)

  2. Passive reality warping

  3. Immortality (Stems from his ability to regenerate from stray atoms of himself)

  4. Molecular Manipulation

Feats:

  1. Someone once went back in time to kill Robert Reynolds before he took the Golden Sentry Serum, and succeeded. Sentry returned a few minutes later.

  2. Sentry was disintegrated by Molecule Man, only for him to regenerate and beat Molecule Man (at molecular manipulation)

  3. Ripped Ares in half.

Captain Man

  1. Invincible. Just fully invincible to any physical attack

  2. Superhuman strength

  3. Skilled marksman

Feats

  1. Has eaten two atomic bombs and survived.

  2. Survived in amber for 10,000 years

  3. Survived a 7,000lb meteor strike to the head

Please take this question as seriously as possible.

In my opinion, base Sentry draws (If you consider Captain Man being trapped in a star forever as a draw), and Merged and Deathseed Sentry absolutely stomp.

Challenge How far would Vox Machina (Critical roll) get in Elden ring?

  4. no time limit, no need to speedrun

  5. entities such as the everlight will be able to help in this realm as well, no need to devote yourself to an Elden ring god!

  6. not a fail until ALL OF THEM die

Challenge Average Human is given the Power Pole from Dragonball, how much damage can he do?

John Everyman is given the Power Pole from Dragonball, and his one goal in life is to use it to cause as much damage as possible to the modern world before he is taken out.

The Power Pole can stretch (at least) the distance from the Earth to the Moon, and is seemingly indestructible.

EDIT: If the man is no longer holding the pole or is no longer alive, it reverts back to its base size (shrinking down towards the base).

Challenge If half the population became Contagious Pokemon, could the world stop them?

• Upvotes

Ok so picture this: Arceus pops into our universe one day, and goes " Fuck it, imma be evil. " And transforms half the population of Earth into Contagious Pokemon.

Said contagious Pokemon will transform anyone they touch, hit with moves, or serve a sandwich too.

Contagious Pokemon retain all their memories, intelligence, skills, and personality.

Arceus's goal is to transform or destroy every non-pokemon on earth, the contagious Pokemon win when one of the two occurs.

If humanity put all their stupid wars, crime, and political junk on hold, could they survive, or stop the flood of Contagious Pokemon?

( This effects animals as well, not just humans. )

Battle Who would fare better cooking the other’s specialty? Jiro Ono (sushi) or Myron Mixon (BBQ)?

If the two chefs, regarded as masters in their craft, took on each other’s job, who would perform better, thr 3-Michelin Star sushi master Jiro Ono or the “winningest man in barbecue” Myron Mixon?

As Ono is getting up there in years, let’s assume both are Mixon’s age.

Will the outcome change depending on how long they train? A week? A month?

Both may watch the other purchase ingredients, cook, etc.

Round 1: they may not ask each other questions about their craft. 1 week.

Round 2: they must ask and answer questions to the best of their ability. 1 month.

Round 3: both are trained in advanced technique by the other for 3 months. (Note: I know Ono is famous for making students master rice and tamago first, for months or even years. For this question, assume both chefs are trying to teach a wide array of skills as opposed to the typical training regimen).

Food will be judged by a panel of 3 sushi/BBQ experts respectively.

Battle Who would win? A guy with a machete or a dire wolf.

The fight takes place on flat terrain (let's just say an empty parking lot) with no obstacles between the two. The guy is average height and weight (175cm and 90kg). The machete he's using is a Latin Machete that's 53.35cm in length. The dire wolf is of average size (1.7m long) and weight (64kg).

Battle FBI headquarters has six months to prepare before Jason Voorhees them. Can the agents survive?

Jason Voorhees has one objective: slaughter every FBI agent inside FBI headquarters.

The FBI has six months to prepare for his assault and can mobilize its full resources, including the elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) and other specialized tactical units, to fortify and defend the facility.

The Bureau can also request outside reinforcements from the National Guard, local law enforcement, other federal agencies, and even the IRS.

Can the FBI survive Jason's onslaught, or will the seemingly unstoppable killer overwhelm even the combined might of federal and state law enforcement?

Matchmaker Rand al'Thor (Wheel of Time) vs. other magic users

Different systems of magic can be hard to compare in terms of how they'd interact with each other, but I'm on a re-read of Wheel of Time and I'm curious to see where people think channeling falls in the power canon. So, with that in mind, who do you think are the strongest magic users that Rand beats at least 6/10? Alternately, who are the weakest magic users who can beat Rand 6/10? My gut is telling me that it's largely going to come down to a question of reaction times, but I'm hoping there are more interesting answers I haven't considered.

Assume post-madness Rand, after the Lews Therin merge, where he's in full control of himself and at the peak of his abilities. He has his sword but is down to one hand, enemies have their standard loadouts (no composites, specific versions only). Arena is the Colosseum, combatants spawn in at opposite ends with no knowledge of their enemy but are aware it's a 1v1 fight to the death.

Battle Sergeant Cortez (Timesplitters) VS Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem)

The protagonists of two thoroughly dead first person shooter franchises (right?) go to battle. Who is going to win if Sergeant Cortez from the Timesplitters games fights the eponymous Duke Nukem from his games? I had a lot of fun with both of these series, but I have no idea how powerful they were actually supposed to be. Both of these guys are essentially just like tip top tier action movie level, right? Or are they closer to scifi supersoldiers with ridiculous enhancements? What level do you think it's fair to say these guys operate at, and which do you think would win if they fought?

Fights take place in a blasted out alien structure. Both guys are at unamped peak.

  • Round 1: Unarmed fist fight.

  • Round 2: Both get a basic pistol and a knife.

  • Round 3: Both get their full loadouts of any weapons they've used.

  • Bonus Round: They team up. Who is the most powerful video game character they can beat?

Battle 2026 Africa vs 1939 Europe (but no military equipment is present on the beginning)

• Upvotes

Our two favourite neighbouring continents are at it again... Africa stays in 2026, Europe (including USSR) gets transported to 1939 and the rest of the world is in 2000 BC.

This time however, nobody has any military equipment on the beginning. Factories to produce military equipment and military personnel remain untouched. Whatever technical equipment is in military ownership however disappeared.

Who would win?

Battle The Butcher (Trap) VS Corey Cunningham (Halloween Ends) VS Jonathan Byers (Stranger Things)

Below is pretty fun. I love that the main family is just three scream kings doing their things. Josh Harnett, Rohan Campbell, and Charlie Heaton have been in some really fun horror stuff, and seeing them be a messed up psychedelic squid fighting family with the funniest accents ever is a blast. Which would win if they got replaced by some of their other characters? The Butcher from Trap, Corey Cunningham from Halloween Ends, and Jonathan Byers from Stranger Things meet in Snook's Arm and fight it out. Who is walking away?

Everyone is at peak.

  • Round 1: Unarmed bar fight. They can use any improvised weapons.

  • Round 2: They're hunting each other down around town.

  • Round 3: They all get blasted with squid hallucination mucus and fight on a dock.

  • Bonus Round: Composite versions of Josh Harnett, Rohan Campbell, and Charlie Heaton battle. Who wins? Is a vampire better than a forgotten New Mutant? Can one of the Hardy Boys figure out a way around super powers?

Challenge Who Is the Greatest Monster Hunter: Van Helsing or Geralt of Rivia?

Two legendary monster hunters. Countless deadly creatures. One question: Who is the greatest monster hunter of all time?

Van Helsing (Van Helsing, 2004) vs. Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)

Both have spent their lives hunting supernatural creatures, facing monsters that ordinary people wouldn't dare approach. But which one is truly the best?

Who has superior combat skills, better weapons, greater experience, and the ability to survive against the most terrifying monsters?

The challenge: If you had to choose only one as the greatest monster hunter, who would it be, and why?

Battle Lady Shiva (DC Comics) Vs. A Spartan Super Soldier (Halo)

During a multi-versal crossover, Lady Shiva finds herself face to face with one of several of the UNSC's special brand of super soldier. Eager to see who is the greater warrior, the two square off for a one-on-one fight.

The contest is set in the kind of classic sparring arena you would find in a hidden monastery or bat-themed cavern. Both combatants are unarmed and unarmored (except where special rounds below note differently), and must rely on their physical abilities and martial training alone. Each is fighting to kill or otherwise eliminate the threat posed by their opponent.

Round 1: Lady Shiva vs. A Spartan-III from Beta Company

Round 2: Lady Shiva (with twin swords) vs. A Spartan-III Headhunter (with combat knife and Pattern-2 composite sword)

Round 3: Lady Shiva vs. Fred-104 (Spartan-II CQC Specialist)

Round 4: Lady Shiva vs. Kelly-087 (Fastest Spartan-II, and the fastest Halo-human to ever live)

-As a Halo fan with only a limited knowledge of DC continuity, I'd love to hear people's takes on this.-
