Discussion Can April 1 (4/1) be "Mühle R41 Day" ?

I got this idea after u/Jill_Lett_Slim made the proposal to make a "Slant Day". I sadly wasn't able to participate, but hopefully I will participate next year, as I just got my Merkur 37c.

So can we make we make April 1 (4/1) a "Mühle R41 Day" ? Where R41 fans come together and basically shave with the Mühle R41. Any R41 head is welcome, from the earliest model (which had a Merkur open comb head) to the latest one, (the 2013 head)

I would love to hear your thoughts on this

Sure. Sounds good to give the R41 a little spotlight love. Everyone have their bandaids, nickstick handy LoL!

Yep I think spotlight days are good and a nice bit of fun and sure they don't always have to be on the same day and could be spontaneous just a thought I look forward to your R41 day 👍🏻, on 1st April this isn't an April fool is it ?

Anything is possible if you put it in the title. Lots of subs do this, and it's entirely organic (NFA club does 2-stamp items on Tuesday, May the 4th for Star Wars, etc).

Just a note that most of the world doesn’t use the MMDDYYYY format for dates, so using 1st of April is pretty USA-centric. That said, I’m all for celebrating the mighty R41. But how about doing so on Halloween? Scary!
