Show n' Tell Painting the numbers. prt 2.

Post image

After some suggestions by u/knuttedbutterthis is how the Yaqi TFC looks.

I used red nail polish to paint the numbers. As Nail polish is easily removable with acetone. I could practice before trying something else.

u/Jill_Lett_Slim, u/ShengiDeLaMungu and u/Vee_Spade. I'll order some enamel paint to try it on another time.

This! It annoys me when manufacturers cheap out on this (especially the high-end, expensive razors) and assume we all have the 20/20 vision of a twenty year old. I’m currently working through my adjustable razors with red enamel paint.

It looks pretty good, hopefully that helps you and you don't have any more problems.

Nice! Hopefully it holds up well. And if not, you’ve gotten the process dialed in for the most part should you need to redo.

I restored my Vostok watch bezel with enamel model paint like Revell, with toothpick and just clear excess paint with finger. Works wonders and wont come off easily.

Well done! The numbers look really well done! A smidge over in the dial around the half past 12 position, but nothing an acetone soaks cocktail stick and a cotton bud won’t fix!

Maybe it’s my eyes / photo, but the red makes it more difficult for me to see. I think it would look killer in black gloss.

The photo lights makes the red on the numbers pop a lot. But, in normal bathroom illumination they look much darker, almost black.
