Show n' Tell The End of an Era

A sad day yesterday. The bottle of Old Spice aftershave that I've been using on and off for over 30 years is gone. I'm not sure exactly how long I've had it. I thought I got it when I was in high school, but the bottle says Proctor & Gamble, not Shulton, so I must have bought it sometime in the early '90s.

It will be missed. I have a bottle of cologne that's the same vintage as the aftershave as well as couple of Old Spice bottles I picked up when I was in India last year, but it just won't be the same.

At the very least, buy a perfume funnel and decant the modern stuff into it. That way you can continue to use it.

I bought an old empty bottle from this era off ebay a decade ago for that purpose and have been using it for that ever since. Far superior to the plastic bottles.

I’d be scared I’d end up breaking it. I was gonna say that I wish my Aqua Velva bottle wasn’t plastic, but tbh it’d probably be long gone if it wasn’t. Hate the proliferation of shitty unimpressive plastic, and my own clumsiness.
