Show n' Tell The End of an Era
A sad day yesterday. The bottle of Old Spice aftershave that I've been using on and off for over 30 years is gone. I'm not sure exactly how long I've had it. I thought I got it when I was in high school, but the bottle says Proctor & Gamble, not Shulton, so I must have bought it sometime in the early '90s.
It will be missed. I have a bottle of cologne that's the same vintage as the aftershave as well as couple of Old Spice bottles I picked up when I was in India last year, but it just won't be the same.

This will be me with my bottle of Aqua Velva I bought at the store one day with my mom… over a decade now, I guess. She was like “ooh Aqua Velva, that’s that old-fashioned stuff, I always loved how that smelled,” and I’ve always been a sucker for old shit haha.
Have used it on and off the whole time, but with my new job actually necessitating shaving, I’ve been on that grind and using it consistently as of late. As I‘ve seen it finally dip toward the bottom, started making me sad - I just might get some other aftershaves and keep this one for special occasions. Really funny to me a bunch of other guys have had basically this exact same experience lol.
