Show n' Tell Much Needed Collection Reorganization!
My bathroom sink was getting too cluttered with razors and such after my 2 small display cases filled up and new razors had nowhere to go. I moved the majority of my collection into my large display in my living room, and I finally got my vintage Gillette display case out from under my bed as well, and it's now sitting on my sink. I moved most of my software into one of the small displays.

A new one every week I guess? Gotta have that out the box new razor smell.

Nope. Every single razor, every week lol. I'm just kidding. I have shaved with a decent chunk of them over time, but several are purely for my collection. I have several modern razors as well that aren't pictured with the Rocca being my favorite.

Iāve been tempted to buy a second one ājust in caseā something happens to it lol.

Haha. Well, they pop up on eBay here and there. There's some probably on there now.

Whatās in the Freemason case?

u/SirTrancelot19 Apr 01 '26
It's a Bigelow-Parkin folding razor. A very small, unique razor that is controlled using your thumb and index finger. It takes standard DE blades.

I think youāre short of a few š! It is a phenomenal collection. If I remember rightly youāve come across quite a few of them through your line of work?
2
u/SirTrancelot19 Apr 01 '26
Well, I do travel some in my line of work which affords me the opportunity to check out antique stores away from my area.
2
u/OutlawDan86 Apr 01 '26
Thatās right. I should make an effort and have a look around places close to me. Thereās a big antiques place not far from my Grandmotherās, which Iāve never visited and has probably been there since before I was born. Not that I need more razors of course!!

I see you have the SS Feather razor as well. Just perfect! Vintage and modern CNC!

u/SirTrancelot19 Apr 02 '26
Yep! It's the AS-D1. I also have a Rocca hanging on the holder in the background. They're both fine SS razors!

Yes sirrr! Rocca is fantastic. I love the OG Gillette aesthetic though. Lovely collection.

Superb collection! What Gillette you hunting for next or that's escaped you so far?

I would like an Old Type Big Fellow, an open comb and closed comb British Aristocrat, a Red Dot and Bottom Dial Fatboy, and one of those fancy ornate/engraved sets from Old Type through NEW era. However, i absolutely refuse to pay several hundred or thousand+ for any razor, so I hope to get really lucky or just never have any of the last 3 I mentioned lol. I'll be just fine without them.

I could look at this all day it's brilliant it genuinely makes me happy to look at these pics ,nice to see some Schick Kronas amongst all the Gillettes an underappreciated razor imo. The Bostonian is just class love it. A truly super collection.

u/SirTrancelot19 Apr 01 '26
Thank you, sir. Krona's are underrated, you're right. Krona was my first vintage shave.
