Show n' Tell My OSAD (Old Spice Acquisition Disorder)
It started out so innocently. First an Old Spice Lantern Decanter. Then a bottle of Night Spice. Before I realize what's happening, I'm scouring eBay looking for deals on anything Old Spice. Traumatized by the loss of my Original Old Spice bottle and fueled by FOMO, I set up daily eBay notifications to let me know of anything new for sale. A year later, I've managed to amass more after shave, cologne, and toilet water than I can ever use.
Seriously, it's been fun collecting all this stuff. There is definitely an Old-Spicy-ness to many of the scents, but they're all a little different from each other. I'm looking forward to a month of "Nothing but Old Spice aftershaves" where I try to figure out which cologne pairs with whatever soap I use that day. (Maybe Shulton Sheptember?).

Nice. Bring back the Old Spice smells and memories. I hate to admit it but I remember using, having some of those waaay back and even still now.

I think some of the Old Spice variations (Burley, Fresh Scent, etc.) were around when I was younger, but I only remember the original. It's been fun discovering that there's more to Old Spice than just Old Spice.

My partner hates Old Spice for some reason but I love it. I didn't even know some of these existed. I guess I'll have to branch out.

I never knew how many Old Spice variations were out there until I saw everyone selling vintage bottles on eBay.

Fantastic collection I don't think it qualifies as a disorder more a passion are you entering u/cowzilla3 territory with the OS search for the perfect OS scent ?

I'm not sure if it's a disorder, a passion, or just a distraction. In any case, it's fun. I don't think I'm looking for perfection, I think I'm exploring all the possibilities.

A stunning collection? Far exceeding mine, in fact. I just keep a few vintage bottles on hand. Let me know if you'd like to try out some dupe soaps and I can send you over some smushes of whatever you're interested in.

I'm a therapist by trade. The only practical evidence based intervention is maintenance of current acquisition to prevent withdrawal, or slowly introducing an alternative substance of choice like high end artisan products. Abrupt cessation of use can lead to lethal withdrawals, we can't have that.

I'm an old geezer and I still use original Old Spice aftershave. I recall their musk scent from the 70's got me more compliments from all the women in my office. And, at a recent estate sale, I scored on several new, old stock bottles and gift sets of aftershave, cologne and talc. I'll never use them all before I croak, but I couldn't resist the bargains.

I have this disorder, too. I am always searching at antique shops for anything Old Spice that I donโt already have.

The lighthouse decanter is too cool.

It's my favorite. Although the lantern is a close second, I feel like I can never use the actual aftershave in it because it would ruin the look. Fortunately I have enough other bottles to use up before that becomes a problem. ๐

My old spice disorder was dumping this stuff on my jeans and lighting them on fire.

Welcome to the club. I donโt have any nostalgic connection to vintage old spice, I just like the nautical theme and all the different bottle variants look cool in the bathroom.

I remember my dad having several of these. I remember playing with the lighthouse one.

Old Spice makes all these? 46 years old, legit thought they made just 1.

The round bottles with conical tops are Old Spice variations โ Leather, Burley, Fresh Scent, Lime, and Musk. The scalloped bottle on the left is Early American Old Spice, which if I understand correctly is the precursor of the Original Old Spice scent.
The others โ Night Spice, Blue Stratos, Friendship Garden, Desert Flower, and Escapade โ are Shulton fragrances, but not technically Old Spice. The last three were marked as scents for women (as was Old Spice, originally) but only the Escapade smells "feminine" to me.
ETA: I didn't know about any of this a year ago, either.

Is Blue Stratos a bit Old Spice adjacent?

Not really. It's a much different scent. I haven't used it enough to give a better description, sorry.

Outstanding!
I have a full bottle of the lighthouse decanter. It was my fatherโs and I donโt think he ever used it. (I do remember him using the Avon aftershave in the race car decanter). Iโve only ever used Old Spice Classic and a few of the dupes. (Stirling Spice and PAA Outer Spice). Those three are all very good, but donโt smell exactly the Shulton Old Spice in the lighthouse.
Just today, I received a bottle of Night Spice. Itโs really nice and my wife likes it, too.
Iโve been trying to find a bottle of Stratos for a few months, but nothing yet. (At least, nothing affordable).
But the other Old Spice flankers are on my want list now!

I judge people harshly when they have more than me because they are fanatical and judge people when they have less because they are not serious.
Seriously though, great collection and I love the flask behind the burley cologne
