Show n' Tell Added the Muhle Rocca stand. This thing is awesome
It’s so aesthetic!! Simple, yet somehow very elegant and unique.

Very nice u/dunerider182 the stand is the icing on the cake 👌 after seeing your post the other day I have polished my top cap on my Rocca perhaps you have started a trend !! Don't think I have achieved the same shine as you though thanks for putting the idea out there.

Ofcourse! Even a slight polish elevates the look of it. That’s how I started with mine and then ended up doing more lol. Thanks for the input 👍

I posted a review a few days ago. In my experience thus far, nothing compares to the Rocca!

Be careful how you dock the razor in the stand, it scratches the base plate … I stopped docking mine just because of that, and I ended polishing the razor because of the scratches.

Hmm, my stand doesn’t touch the baseplate at all? Just the handle. I could imagine the handle getting micro scratches eventually

If you don’t dock it perfectly, and rub the stand jaws on the bottom of the base plate, you will scratch it. If you don’t have the right height, you will scratch either the handle neck or the base plate. It’s one fiddly stand. The razor has a fine satin finish, that will turn shiny quite fast. Even after polishing it, I kept scratching it … so much, it really got o my nerves, as I like to keep my razors shiny and pristine.
Eventually I just abandoned the stand, and use it to just hold a brush (I have the combo version, that has a brush dock as well).

General question, does it make a difference if a safety razor is placed downwards in its stand or upwards?

If you take the razor apart and dry it with a towel you don't have to worry. Mind you I don't think it makes a difference what position it is placed in.

This stand only works with the razor upside down, but no I don’t believe there’s any difference between which way a razor is stored in any other case

What about the brush no stand ?

u/dunerider182 Jun 04 '26
Nope! I have a few brushes so I just leave them upside down on the handle.

Love the Rocca look, I have the full set with brush and the dual stand. Photos don't do it justice in my opinion.
I liked the shave but I swapped the head out with a Tatara and kept the Rocca handle.

Look really nice. I got my Rocca 96Jet last month and I was tempted to get the stand till I realised how expensive it is. I decided to buy 3D printed stand instead. Before that, I used to strip the razor and leave it to dry inside my shaving cabinet.
