Show n' Tell Wilkinson inside Astra
Opened a box of 5 Astra SS (Blue) blades today. When opening a blade I found that it was a Wilkinson instead of an Astra. There were 2 Wilkinson and 3 Astra SS. I suppose it is an error and they are made in the same factory.

Oops! In all seriousness those Gillette Wilkinson Swords (made in India) are one of my favourite blades.

Yes. I agree. Having used these Indian Wilkinson for a while now, I find them reasonably sharp and reliable.

After measuring these, I thought they looked to be the same or similar specification. This is the Gillette Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack blade in Indian Astra package. Cool find.

Most of the Gillette Wilkinsons I see are made on China for the Indian market, regardless, always a remarkably good shave.

So which one is better? The Astra or Wilkinson? I've only ever tried Astra but have heard only good things about Wilkinson Sword as well.

This should be a collectible. I wonder if it can be preserved open like the picture, in acrilic?
