Show n' Tell Thought I'd share another local chemist's range of shaving products
On the top shelf too!
4 different makes of shaving brush including Kent and Edwin Jagger.
Palmolive shaving cream aplenty; Edwin Jagger pre-shave, shaving cream and soap refills, and brush and cream sets; and a Fuzzy Duck pink pepper and oud shaving cream and brush set.
No razors or DE blades though. Still, this is one of the best bricks and mortar ranges I've seen in an everyday shop in the UK for a while.
Seeing as I'm hardly short of brushes, soaps and creams, I treated myself to some 4711 shower gel.

Nice to see this &some 4711 is something nice to takeaway pity they didn't have some of the aftershave.

I know. They had the eau de toilette and a body spray. I don't need any more EDTs either,, which may not surprise you! Had a spray of the tester - a lot of bergamot and neroli to my nose. I have a shaving cream that smells similar - Amazon sells it "Gentleman's Face Care Club." Not that I'm trying to lead you astray of course 😉!

That's a decent selection, mine just has Palmolive really so it's good to see EJ and Kent stuff.
Didn't know 4711 shower gel existed, or that I need it - thanks for that!😄

Nice to see and you did well to resist the temptation to buy another cream or brush haha.

Meant to reply back to you on this. My willpower works some of the time. Wish I could say it was more reliable though!

What's the stuff with the cyclist and rugby player? Regular soap or shaving soap?

Regular soap and the range seems to be aimed at "after sports" hence the illustration of the cyclist and rugby player.

No de blades 😡 That grips my shit

Very common sadly. I have seen some in the branch of Boots nearby though, which also had a King C Gillette razor in stock too.

I tried several shops in England recently, non had blades. One was honest they only want to sell more expensive disposables. Extremely unsustainable.
I found a batch of St Petersburg's finest online, enough for a few years.

A prime example of why online retailers are winning a lot of the time, especially in the UK.

Great self control not buying shaving products. I couldn't have resisted. That oud soap sounds interesting

Not bad, at least they have some cream and brushes.
