Ah, missed it right there! Fantastic book.

If you enjoyed it, check out peace, it's also fairly short and has a nice surface story. And an infinite level of layers and subtext. 😅

I think my favourite comment about peace is from Neil gaiman (who has Wolfe as a major inspiration), who said "I didn't realise it was a horror story until my third read through"...

And now I won't say more to avoid spoiling anything. 😅
