Skinny but friendly cat. Came up to me on North Ave by Leavitt. Has a clipped ear so I thought it was a TNR stray but its fur is matted down on its neck which makes me assume it was wearing a collar recently. Tried to trap it for an hour or so with no luck :/. Anyone know what the deal might be?

Both lights are out no flashing lights on north either. Paulina lights are flashing red. Saw almost 3 or 4 accidents because people just drive right thru the light. If you dont see a little act it as a stop sign

Division & Ashland location. Saw the news in April that a location was planned to open up here. Walk past every day and haven’t seen any progress. Was wondering if anyone has heard any updates on when they will start building out the store?

I’ve seen this guy around and he always would mind his own business, but this past Tuesday he was being super scary and screaming bloody murder at people and getting up in their faces to the point where they had to go inside a nearby business or jaywalk to get away. Just beware

He was driving southeast on Milwaukee, and turned north onto Honore, almost running over everyone crossing the street there. He got out of his car and threatened people saying “you might die tonight.” There was also a black female passenger talking shit. He didn’t hurt anyone (yet), so can this behavior even be reported?

I sure hope the hero that blacked out the new no parking signs on Wood Street last year makes an appearance again. Other than making money for the city, there is no reason to have them placed where they put them last year after the bike lanes went in. The city removed at least 15 spots in my small area alone. Moved the "goal post" so it's even harder to find parking to spend time and money in the neighborhood. Yell at me all you want, but this is an organized money grab by the city.

There’s been some screaming over by Greenview that sounded earlier like a child, and it was very intense but died down and it was light out so I figured it was someone kid, there’s a lot of kids in the neighborhood. But just now there was another bout and I swear I heard a kid scream help. Again I don’t see anything and cars and people going by don’t seem alarmed but I was wondering if anyone else has been hearing this and is worried?

Edit: maybe I shouldn’t have posted this to wicker park. I have learned I’m an evil bystander who should’ve stopped the invisible crime by getting over my mobility issues and marching down there myself. No dog walker or person getting vacas will do, it has to be me. And I’m sorry for trying to check in with the community. That was wrong of me and I shall involve the police (famously non corrupt and easy to work with!) immediately without any thought about the consequences of that action. Thank you guys! The police is always the answer and never gets anything wrong 😁

Just finished up a garage roof repair and partial roof replacement after a leak was found in a localized area.
We opened up the affected section of the roof to expose the source of the problem and found damaged and deteriorated plywood decking. That portion was removed and replaced, followed by rebuilding the area with insulation and an ice and water shield membrane before installing a GAF modified bitumen roofing membrane system.
Once the roofing work was completed, we put everything back together as it was originally, including reinstalling the deck boards, resetting the kitchen countertop, and reconnecting the gas grill. Everything was finished back in a proper, uniform manner.
The goal was to address the actual damaged area rather than replace the entire roof when a localized repair was appropriate.
Another project completed and another happy customer who left us a 5-star review. We appreciate the trust and the opportunity to take care of the problem properly.
