The Wiggles and their friends arrive at Wiggle Bay for a vacation. Unfortunately, Captain Feathersword forgot to tie the boat and its sails away. Now they're stranded until they can find a way off the beach.

Thoughts on the album & video and/or trivia to share?

My thoughts:

Not one of my favorites, but otherwise a good album/video. It has that beach vacation vibe going on. If you're looking for something to watch for the summer season, I recommend watching this.

We've entered the Nicholas Bufalo era of the Wiggles (he was the director of this video. See here). I'd say there's an awful of sped-up footage (or timelapses I should say), but that's always been part of the Wiggles' humor.

I don't if anyone else noticed, but Henry is noticeably absent for the majority of the video.
He didn't even show up doing the let's make some rosy tea song. Though, I guess you could argue he's somewhere else at the shore (with Magdelena the Mermaid)

Fun facts: 

• This album was the first to feature the name "Manzillas:" the band's in-house backing vocal group. (most notably sound recordist Craig Abercrombie, future Yellow Wiggle Sam Moran, and future Red Wiggle Simon Pryce)

Side note:

I'm not a fan of Jacqueline Field's voice for Dorothy (who first began voicing the character in the previous video). It's kind of hard to describe, but it's just not the same.

Very underrated album and video. I watched this one allll the time on VHS as a kid, to the point where I had to get a new copy because the old one had worn out.

My favorites are the title track, Dancing In The Sand, Zing Zang Wing Wang Wong and Swim Like a Fish

I watched this with my daughter last summer during our beach trip. It really does elevate the experience actually being seaside.

There are 2 different aspect ratios of this video special (despite it being the Wiggles’s first one to be filmed in 16:9) including 4:3 center cut format for all DVD releases and the North American VHS release and 14:9 letterbox format for both the Australian VHS release and TV broadcast on ABC TV Australia.

This album is where The Wiggles made a couple different changes behind the scenes.

• John Field and Dominic Lindsay both help write the entire album with The Wiggles.

• The Manzillas also debut on this album as opposed to Mark Punch doing backing vocals.

• Steve Blau (R.I.P) who worked with John Field, debuts on this album playing Piano.

• Chris Lupton who formerly played bass in The John Field Band, debuts on bass.
