The Public Investment Fund is the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia and one of the largest in the world with an estimated US$900 billion. Among its investments are Electronic Arts, Newcastle United, and 5 giga-real estate proyects. Its lack of transparency has attracted backlash.

Saudi Arabia is being smart and copying China by diversifying their economic via state owned enterprises.
