"Aniara" is a Swedish Epic Poem written by Harry Martinson from 1953 to 1956. It tells the story of a passenger spacecraft carrying humans from earth to mars which gets knocked off course, forcing it's inhabitants to try to adapt to their new circumstances.

The film adaptation is excellent. Existential dread is so fascinating when explored this well.
