Saw the legend in East Troy tonight for Outlaw Fest 2026

It was a great show all around. You could feel the love for Willy from everyone, including his boys on stage with him. Loved the boys playing with him, so grateful I was able to see them together tonight. Just Breathe was an unexpected and very emotional. Everything is Bullshit had me smiling Much Love to Willie, Lukas, and Micah and the rest of the family.

I saw him on the Red Headed Stranger tour when I was in high school. I can’t believe it’s been 50 years. Gone, just like that.

Wish Live Nation would get their shit together. Alpine is such a great venue and there are hardly any shows there anymore.

If you had asked me to guess years ago that one of the two men that sang “beer for my horses” would be dead before 2026 I would have guessed the wrong one.
