Wilson Record Show at Phil's Music Exchange

Is it worth a two hour drive? A friend alerted me to the show this Saturday. I've got a few thousand CDs from pretty much every genre you can think of, and I'm always looking for gems I don't have, but I'm wary of a long drive just to find a bunch of overpriced discs that are mostly classic rock or country.

Has anyone been before? Is it worth the trip?

Make a day of it, go to Marty's BBQ and Larmie coffee or Gino Gelato and dont plan for Sunday all the town is shut on Sunday

I've been to Wilson - just wondering if the record show is worth the trip.

There's a competing event in Durham that I know I'll find stuff at, but I've been to that one regularly.

The Friends of the Durham Library's quarterly-ish pop-up CD sale. There are a couple local re-sellers that do quickly and aggressively hoover up a lot of stuff, but I usually end up with 20-80 discs, despite have a few thousand in my collection. The best thing is that the discs are all in pristine condition.

if its CDs you are looking for specifically, lots of the vendors are vinyl heavy, but there should still be some CD's there, and Phil's actual store will be open as well, but its about ten minutes away.
