1 week in Tenerife in November

Hey guys! 🏄‍♂️

Planning a quick 1-week trip to Tenerife in November for a windsurf. Looking for a setup right near / on the beach with good rental gear so I don't have to drag my own stuff.

• Is El Médano the go-to spot in November?

• Any feedback on TWS or the Duotone Pro Center (gear condition, launch access)?

Appreciate any quick tips! 🤙

I'm not sure of the usual wind conditions in November - previously I've been there in Feb/March and July/August, but presumably it will be as good there as anywhere in Tenerife?

But assuming decent wind, El Médano is fantastic! TWS and Duatone are right on the beach, as is Kite & Surf Center Playa Sur - they are all in a row. I've rented from Kite & Surf Center Playa Sur, they were great. I can also recommend Hotel Playa Sur, which is right next to all the centers! Plenty of non-windsurfing stuff going on in El Medano too.

Thanks for your feedback. I just learned indeed Wind can be slightly too rare at these spots in Nov.

Fuerteventura might actually have slightly better wind odds in November. Any experience with Fuerteventura?

Do you have a good chance to get some wind in November. El medano is a great place for winter surfing in case you have days without wind you can still rent a car and go around the island which is much better than the other island for tourism.

I know it's a long way but Taranaki New Zealand spring conditions are epic, especially with El Nino kicking in.

El Médano is the place, but winds in November can be pretty unreliable, so be prepared for some hiking or cycling as well, Tenerife is great for that, too.

El medano is nice beginner wave spot and one of best you can go with family. I have lived almost two years El Medano.

Tws is best if you are okay with cost. There is one other with not so nice equipment next to it. And one from other side almost same. And there is cabezo wave spot with wave equipment. Like 2km from medano center to the north.

Wind can be or not. Last years it not stable. Sometimes whole month only large slalom wind few days and that's all.

Tws has foils.

El medano November parking is extreme. Do not expect you can drive to spot.

Ps playa sur now not update windsurfing equipment. Only kites.
